I will start by saying I was slightly apprehensive about this before, but I can say this is an experience! Firstly finding the place. I initially drive past it a few times before I used the what3words location. I would advise you use it as it took me straight to it! The post code will only get you to the village and by that point you have too far. Our trek guide (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) was amazing. She spent about half an hour in the barn explaining all about the and llamas, we got to meet all the animals and they really did have completely different personalities. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered any question that was asked. Personally I found Tim to be the funniest one. He kept trying to break out of the pens. After meeting all the animals we were paired with our animals for the walking part of the experience. Please Note: I did read the email about wearing boots and I did take what I believed to be acceptable shoes, oh how wrong would I have been. Lucky for me they have 'Rent-a-wellies'! At £2, they are a bargain and well worth while, take it from me! I was lucky enough to be paired with Rohan. He was so easy to handle for a novice. He is an animal so calm and caring. I am sure he was sussing me out initially, but by the end of the walk he was cuddling up to me (which was very cute). I would highly this to anyone, young or old and anything in-between. You will get the chance to get up close and personal with these majestic animals and have a life changing experience. Thank you Suzanne and team for a wonderful experience. Someone recommended to me to go to Brimham Rocks on my trip to Yorkshire. Upon Googling Brimham Rocks, I discovered Nidderdale and decided to book a “2 hour trek with llamas” experience. We had so much fun and delight with the we forgot Brimham Rocks even existed and didn’t go. 10/10 for the experience, 11/10 for Yogi the Llama. Special honours for John. And the two whose names I’ve forgotten. Fantastic llamas.. Brilliant staff. Weather was beautiful .. Perfect afternoon.. Shout out to Rory my llama!! And to Charlotte for making our wedding anniversary trip a day! A wonderful hour and a half learning about and enjoying a short trek. They say every day is a school day and this certainly was. Thoroughly recommended and a special mention for Jess our host who did a very professional and engaging job. The are so interesting and fun to do. The staff are lovely. The trek is through nice surroundings. Highly visiting! We booked this for my hen do and everyone had the best time! The were so cute and friendly and the staff were very knowledgeable. The people in the ground who were a bit more anxious/less confident were matched with the most well behaved and were loving it by the end. Please support this brilliant business you will have the best day! I had an birthday at Nidderdale Llamas! We did the scenic trek on a lovely sunny afternoon and loved every second of it. The two hosts were friendly and welcoming and after an educational introduction to and we spent an hour and a half walking through the local countryside and finished with cake and drinks. They weren’t lying when they said you’d fall in love with your llama, I hope to come back and see Pippa again soon :’) Oh my word, what a day out that was!! Learned a deal about the and in the most wonderful scenery. Had a walk around the area with my llama friend Ozzy. What a fun little character he was, always trying to sneak a little naughty snack or two. It was sad to leave him, but I’ve come away with my heart filled with love for him and his friends 🥰🦙 We had a llama afternoon with Charlotte and Sally. Lovely to see the and so well looked after and learn about their personalities. We had a time for a hen do, would recommend! An experience, bonding with and Alpacas. Fantastic enthusiastic staff, a learned a lot about these wonderful animals. Beautiful scenic walks and so much fun Absolutely walking Lloyd and Miracle yesterday. It's clear to see everyone at Nidderdale care deeply about the and and are keen to share their knowledge with you. Who knew get gobsmacked when upset?! Lovely hike with very well behaved through some picturesque scenery. Highly and we will definitely be booking again. Booked as a family of four as an end of holiday and had the most wonderful time; definitely the highlight of our holiday. Charlotte was really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and immediately put us all at ease. She expertly paired my two apprehensive children with Xavier and Archie and they soon relaxed and had a time. Beautiful scenery, lovely, relaxed walk . Wouldn’t hesitate to this to anyone and already planning a return trip. Thank you Had a afternoon meeting and walking the and al pacas. Charlotte is so knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel confident to happily take the out for a walk. They are such beautiful and gentle creatures.
