Nice, very large, flat grass pitches with several water points around, EHU and Elsan etc nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely walks through the grounds of the main hotel complex which has a beautiful little church. Enjoyed our 50 free golf balls at the golf range on the attached golf course. The is just ok the amenities block is and the showers are hot only criticism is the floor tiles could do with a good steam clean. The top elson point is disgusting so is the waste water disposal don't think either as been cleaned in ages stainless steel looks moldy. And the elson smells terrible no maintenance or cleaning. Facilities good ( bar / restaurant, toilets , ) . However we found the caravan park in need of some work . Parts were like travellers . Not many vehicles observed speed limit , including park . OK...I absolutely know the facilities are immaculate etc etc...so my review is about the staff..we were caught in the A1 road closure yesterday afternoon...we did a quick search and found rudding park...we had driven 9 hours in our motorhome...arrived late on and met the most helpful and friendly warden...Bruce was amazing...the food and much needed beer in the pub and were lovely and the receptionist was all smiles...you were all fantastic and can't thank you enough....100 x 5 stars x We went for the day as a guest as our family were staying on-site with their touring caravan. First impressions is lovely and with lots of amenities. Cafe does lovely sausage and bacon buns and the outdoor swimming looked very well maintained too! Recommended I’ve rated this place before but I’m doing a new review being here for a few weeks in winter and thread weather despite outside taps freezing over for a couple of days they did their best to make sure everyone had access to drinking water The shower blocks are again and regularly cleaned despite everyone claiming they are dirty and run down they are not run down they are on the older side but decor wise but when your not paying for a shower like most places and They are warm Then we have the complaint about bath tap missing no it’s no missing it’s removed for safety reasons the hot water is hot you push a button on the outside of the bathroom as it states hot water runs for a amount of time and turns off fab idea The is the are so nice and friendly shop is a little pricey yes you have to pay for the £6 pp and pre book it but hey so long as you know this you budget for it Harrogate is a short bus ride away £2.50 for a single ticket Despite the snow covering everything ankle deep the tractor was out to plough the place and the helping where possible to help people out or even on amazing service Washing machines after I let them know they was starting to get grubby from excessive liquids and pods Dryers have been sorted so no longer taking as long Nice pitch and welcome on arrival. Was on number 22, plenty of space with hedge on two sides. Toilet etc all fine. The bar is nice, not too expensive. Food looked ok but we didn't eat there. Only a couple of gripes, grass on the pitch could have done with a quick trim in between tourers coming and going. And the is £6 per person, not included with your booking. Plus we had trouble getting a slot as the public can also book making it a little busy. Also, they don't clear out those on earlier slots so if kids wanted to stay for three hours they probably could. My advice, don't bother booking as I am sure many didn't and just walked in. Would still visit again. Great place to stay, great for just adults or with children. we stayed in our camper van. Great pub on all the facilities you need would highly recommend. Our second stay here with our motorhome. Lovely with friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. The kids loved to outdoor heated (additional cost) we will be back again. Couple of events really spoiled our short stay here. We really looked forward to try this camp but when you are kicked out of the because the owner decided to have a private party for their children which was not clear when we got to the pool. Kids were extremely disappointed. Later when we wanted to have a diner at the Deer House pub , we were told by the they can’t provide meal for our daughter who has several allergies. We never had this at any place , even a simple tomato pasta can be made but not at this restaurant apparently, and we had to leave. Really disappointed visit. Stayed in motor home. Excellent site, very friendly and helpful staff. The street lighting could be improved, maybe with solar lights. Definitely return. We stayed here for May bank holiday and had the best time. We have a touring caravan, the facilities are excellent and the grounds are beautiful. We loved the outdoor and Deer House family pub, they had entertainment on such as live music and a disco for the kids. My little boy had such a good time. The play park opposite the and attached to the pub is suitable for all ages including toddlers,l. The is outdoor and heated. There’s also a large park with climbing frames and zip wire, with picnic benches. Great for football too. There’s a shop on that also serves breakfast and lunch to eat in or takeaway. There’s a pizza shack that serves wood fired pizza and rotisserie chicken. Lots to do nearby not far from Knaresborough. Very nice campsite, spotlessly clean, nice hot showers and even a bath!! Very friendly man greeted us on arrival and upgraded us to a serviced pitch. Only stayed 1 night as we're travelling around North Yorkshire and Northumberland but would 100% recommend. Can’t believe how unprofessional there manager is and some of there I’ve stayed on Rudding pack touring in Harrogate approximately 10 times over the past 10 years and it’s a great and a great location we use to go to Yorkshire show and kids loved it , the old was great but apparently they’ve had a new manager for around 4 years she’s a real jobs worth we last stayed in 2023 with a few other family we booked it together and they had a good rate for that week we started around 5nights and weather was great the kids enjoyed the swimming we used the pub on a night unfortunately one night after all the family’s left the pub around 1030 we was talking out side of our own caravans and there warden came and told us of in a aggressive manner ask us to call it a night I was shocked that he had the nerve to tell grown up people it’s bedtime and they wasn’t complaining when we was spending money in there pup we hadn’t went on holiday to go to bed early, and told him that the next day I complained to reception explained everything was good with our stay but didn’t appreciate the there warden’s attitude and we left the that was in 2023 Then this week June 2025 we rebooked online for 4 nights and the next day to our shock there manager phoned my wife to say there giving us a refund and wasn’t willing to explain why my wife asked me to give there manager card details and I spoke with there manager and she was really un polite and unprofessional I asked if there was a issue why didn’t she send a email to explain as it was myself who made a complaint to them she was unbelievably rude and made no sense what so ever Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
