Middle Eastern music was playing across the harbour, swallows and swifts were screaming above us, and the sun started to catch the tips of the far distant mountain range lighting them gold. We sat in awe of the of the colourful harbour waking up for half an hour then walked along the harbour to the fortress and back to find the first café open for coffee and croissants. It has some amazing places for pictures along the way. You can also see how Cristal clear the water really is in this area. Definetly recommend coming this way if you are visiting Chania! Maybe a tip would be to avoid going during the hottest hours of the day since there's no shadow along the way. One of the most sights i saw in my life. Make sure to take a photo or two.
