Not really a castle as it was only built to guard the local silver mines. Nice little place to enjoy the view I don’t really know if this is a Castle, because its too small to be a castle, but its still worth a visit. Can be walked from the Bahnhof, around 30-45 minutes. This is on a hill, so its overlooking the town. From the town, to the green grass, to the forest, the view was mesmerising. Its like a miniature version, where trains passes in the middle of the town. Spectacular! Worth the hike! 2 paths 1 steep 1 low suitable for almost everyone. Gorgeous views at the 1 top with its ruined fortress and direct nearby on the wooded hilltop/peak. Amazing view from the top The vantage view is fine not that great. The hike to the castle is nice. There is a better route than suggested by google to hike up. The food was amazing. We sat outside and enjoyed dinner. It was a very busy restaurant. Needs to walk in high elevation, not suited for children and old people. Great view of the Hausach from top. Well preserved castle and surrounding area.
