A small place out of the tourist part of town, where the stuff know almost every guest, the food is very tasty, especially the local specialities, the portions are generous, the service is friendly - it is definitely a keeper, and we will come back as much as we can. Very food, lots of dishes to choose from, cosy atmosphere. I just loved their bread. The lamb ribs are very good. Excellent place for your dinner or any other occasion. In general the meats here are tasty, specially the beef with red sauce and cheese mix The fresh trout we ordered was among the better cooked trout we've through our travels and we've tried alot of grilled trout. Not dry, flavourful, filleted and served with complimentary sides for a very reasonable price. Fried zucchini was flavourful and served with tzatziki. Noticed a Himalayan salt grinder which you don't see in many places, adding a nice touch. Very cozy vibes and clean establishment. We visited for dinner during winter and appreciated that people weren't smoking indoors with non-smoking signs (like some village towns in Greece). Hosts were warm and welcoming to us and generous with delicious desserts on the house. A positive dining experience for our stay in Kastoria we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. What can I say for this place. Family restaurant with traditional best quality food. I had Politiki salad and spice feta in the oven. For main course gourounopoula piglets in the oven. And the red wine Cabernet Sauvignon they have is very good🍷 Food was great, everything the waiter recommended was and very well done. He was extremely friendly and helpful. In the end we received two plates of local dessert on the house. The price was excellent too. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star review is due to the smoking area being inside and so close to the non-smoking one. Whenever someone lit a cigarette on the other side we smelt it too which definitely impacted our experience. Excellent experience! The food is very delicious!
