Took about 20 or so to go through the system. Everything was paved with concrete real well and easy to navigate. There are some steps in it and some areas are slippery with some moisture but nothing serious. Our tour was self guided as they graciously played an audio recording throughout the in English so we could understand the areas and the history of the cave. We were grateful they did this for people that only spoke English. The areas were all very interesting and unique in their own way. Some had water, some had more stalagmites/stalagtites than others and some had larger open areas. Very unique place to while up in Kastoria. Such a beautiful area! I've been to several caves in my travels and this may be the very best. It's well laid out, easily accessible, well illuminated and the formations are close enough to the path that you can fully appreciate their beauty. Tip: Rent a bike and make this stop part of your trip around the peninsula. The terrain is flat and it's a beautiful, quiet and peaceful trip that's easily completed within a couple of hours, including stops. Perfect for relatively inexperienced cyclists. This was a great place to visit, the formations in the were beautiful. It was informative too, and you get to learn about the through a speaker as you through. You do get a limited time however, around 15 before you get hurried along. I think this was good though as it's not too busy when you are in there. Would recommend when in Kastoria. Very nice place to visit. Audio guides come over speakers inside the cave. For me, it's a good solution! German is available, so the understanding was perfect! We enjoyed the stay on a hot summer day 34°C outside inside 17 °C. It's not the biggest cave, but we'll build walkways. We enjoyed the visit! Great cave, nicely located outside Kastoria, just by the lake. A nearby cafe. The itself is very nice, still active stalectites!! Entrance only 6 euros, there is a guided vocal naration inside. Very recommended. Not the biggest but definitely a nice to for the experience. No Dragons inside. Great place to with the kids and family. Great for 30 to cool down in the heat of the day too. Interesting formations in the rocks as the waters droplets over 1000s of years. Parking just outside with a cafe 100 meters away with a short lake from the main town. If you up for it. Or and you can around the island in an hour and half or so. Maybe it's not the biggest in Greece but surely is the most attractive one, since the scenery completely changes all the time. It includes 7 lakes too. The presentation is wonderfull with recorded tour, nice lighting and a safe route to visit. Totally worth it Very beautiful cave. Its small, all tour can be done in about 15min. In the cave, information about its history sounds in different languages, so people are let through for 7-8 based on the language they want to listen to. There is also Bulgarian. Short (350m long), very impressive. High safety standards too. Interesting cave. You can take a taxi going here or just if its a good day. One of the highlights when visiting Kastoria. It takes about 20 to explore inside the cave. Very well lit and safe. They play the audio guide in different languages. Just let them know which language you prefer. Beautiful caves! A must if you are in Kastoria! Wonderful experience. Quite long. Amazing atmosphere. Well organized.Different labirents. Well lighted. But take a strong electric torch 🔦 with you if possible. Go there by walking. The road is mesmerising also. Great Cave, It was the first time for me visiting a Cave, It's not very big it takes 10-15 to see all. It’s amazing! Very well set up, so that the in the is not difficult, but you can see the stalactites very well and get a real “cave experience.” The music is a nice peaceful touch also. Nice little to when in Kastoria. Also serves as a warm refuge when it's cold outside, since the temperature is around 18° all year round! The prettiest I have ever seen! And just 4€ for students. We had the whole for ourselves and could explore it on our own. It's beautifully illuminated :) We have been here on 2024-07-21 during our round trip in North Macedonia and the northern part of Greece (see my other reviews). The is one of the best I have ever seen. We were here just after opening time so it was not crowded at all. There is enough parking space at the location between the and the restaurant. Keep in mind that the road is a one way drive. When you enter the a short explanation about the is played over the speakers in your own language. You are free to on your own, it is not a guided cave. You can stay as long as you want. The lighting in the is nicely done and the paths are very easy to do. When leaving the there is some background information shown on the walls. Great place to visit. A luxury tour where we were the only ones in a listening to the guide from the speakers in our native language. The isn't big but it's totally worth it. Definitely recommend for a visit. Thank you for a wonderful hospitality! Very interesting place, maximum accessibility to all parts of the with wonderful lighting. Note that there is no audio guide in the Macedonian language, although most of the visitors were from the Republic of Macedonia.
