One of the Best Places To Visits in Stanley Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Really place to take you and suits all ages Visited today and I never even knew this hidden gem existed till yesterday. So gave it a try and I could not provide better feedback this was an amazing day and so much to do to keep the little ones amused. So yeah 5 star and highly recon’s d a Fantastic day lots of and equipment for the ( and the adults who think they are ) well worth the entrance fee kept them happy all day .Good points like no smoking inplay s only back in carpark apsalutly fantastic day We had such a great time! The facilities were excellent, the were amazing, and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor to enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was very reasonably priced. Great little place for families. Lots of different and not too busy. Fabulous indoor section that my boys could’ve spent all day in alone lol I had a at the area! The vibrant atmosphere and exciting structures kept me and my entertained for hours. The was incredibly helpful and always had a cheerful demeanor, making the experience even more enjoyable. The cafe was good. While the toilet hygiene wasn't the best, the overall fun and positive environment outweighed that downside. We can't wait to come back and again! Not the best here. No concessions for snow and ice making most of the attraction unusable meant spending £25 on a for 2 hours. Note: you must buy tickets online to avoid an adult ticket fee of £9. No idea why and no explanation given either. This is where the disappointment (and disbelief) really began. With the being the only usable and the inflatable bouncy castle not being heated so it was as cold as outside, you might have thought that an effort was made to make this particularly usable on the day. We were met by what I can only describe as a construction site. Next to the toddlers there was; - A Saw. - A Hammer - X2 Screw Drivers - Wall tack nails. All of which I would generally not consider to be safe play… Turning around towards the main we were welcomed by various sizes of ladders as workmen climbed on and around the areas removing Christmas decorations, leaving string lights hanging around the entrances for the for to run in to, trip over and god knows what else. I honestly started to believe that the whole thing was a parody and a TV crew were eventually going to pop out and surprise me, but no, this act of severe health and safety violation was unfortunately very real. What makes it worse is that not one member of looked atall concerned about the conditions. I escorted my son around inside and outside in order for him to enjoy to the but at the same avoid all the risk of injury put on display by Holmside Park. At one point there was a man hanging from the top of the play, approximately 40ft high with no safety equipment whatsoever while were inside. When I left, I pointed out to a member of the various encounters on the visit, with head in hands and only a “sorry about your experience” offered. The irony, is that at beginning of the before you make your way to the construction site… (sorry I meant area…) they make you take a 2 minute safety briefing as to how you should safely navigate the park. All in all, a disappointing visit, I am no health and safety expert but what I see here are some major red flags that the management need to address and an endless list of near miss violations. Please see the images for reference. Plenty to do, could have stayed all day.The were lovely. variety of for softplay adventure golf archery roller skating inflatable obstacle course all indoor large outdoor with jumping pillows and bit cold still indoors for adults just watching it's a barn but day out place where you can spend the whole day. Only thing is there is not enough supervision of equipment which resulted in my 4 year old niece being injured by a teenager on the small bouncy pillows Excellent day out for the family. Absolutely loads to do and fairly priced. The whole place was very clean and well planned out. Will definitely be back! This is a full day adventure. Our grandchildren love it here. I'm quite a fit grandma so I'm full on busy too on all the inflatables. The are brilliant and very friendly. It's great to see the additional items each year. This place is amazing - went here today with my son and 3 grandsons. Mini golf (free), bouncy castles, swings outsides, bouncy areas outside. Sandpits, footballs to footy outside. Fire engine and RAF helicopter you can sit in Rollerskating (free), food and drink court...the list is endless - would highly recommend. Only thing was, you needed £1 coins to go on Go-Karts Just discovered this place, will definitely be back, especially in soring and summer. for little ones, more adventurous one for bigger kids. Plenty outside to discover. Also for bigger and adults. Quad bikes, Mug buggies, knife throughing, Archery. Donkey Sanctuary next door. The food appeared better than some similar venues. activities. Can spend full day provided weather is good. space for parking. Might get funny smell in air due to donkey farm at parking area. Not happy with toilets. Poorly maintained. Few closed down 2 hours early before the closing time. Had booked my tickets online but still had to spend 15 minutes in the queue which was disappointing. Need yo maintain on few equipments. Dinosaur small walking path good. This place is amazing to spend a full day with the as there's so many to do over a full day. will absolutely love the amount of things to see and on. For £15 it's worth every penny. If there was a slight negative wound be the £9 for the adults just to go in and supervise their kids, I think for £9 it would be to include a hot drink in within the price for the adults. Apart from that I would definitely recommend and would return Really impressed with Holmside park! Had the best day out and so much to do! Well worth the money, all really helpful especially the lady who helped find something for my son to wear when he fell over in a muddy puddle - elf trousers to the rescue. And to James who helped us with Archery! We had an incredible day out as a family, packed with enjoyable and well-organized events. Every part of the day was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to relax and have fun without worrying about logistics. The range of offered something for everyone, from younger , making it an inclusive experience. Overall, it was a wonderful family outing, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. The toilets were amazingly clean and even smelled nice.tgere was loads of for the different age groups and everybody was having fun.
