We visited Porthkerry Country a few weekends ago for a picnic with friends. What a lovely place to visit, especially with dogs. Lots of open grass areas, and shaded woods, with a stream running through it. Good concessions and a pebble is a 5 minute away. All-round a lovely picnic spot! Parking is reasonably priced, there is plenty to see and do, including the rocky beach, boardwalks, forest walks, little ponds and plenty of wildlife, a playpark and large fields nicely mown for to play on. The is good, toilets could do with a refurb really, but are functional and free. Well worth a visit. Beautiful and beach, although stoney, it's still a lovely place to sit. Watch out for Adders in the long grass, mind! The is beautiful for dog walkers and families. Great little with outside dining. Nice bit of history in the woods with the remains of the Witch's house. Though on our today, it looked like someone had been having a ritual 😂 Recent improvements have been made to the park. There is a play area. The is a short but there is also a huge grass area to play or picnic. The is lovely, I recommend the cannoli. No seating inside but plenty outside. There were on bikes and walks in the woodland too. The only downside was the toilets which need some care and attention. You pay for parking at the machine. Great open area for the to run around. Food is always nice in the cafe. is clean and the love it. Nice wark down to the sea just watch out for the stones Super picnic spot. Perfectly suited for gathering of any size. Ample parking spaces available. Paid parking. £4 for 4hrs. No barbecue allowed though, so we took cooked food and drinks with us. There's a pet shop and ice cream shop available near the parking. Would definitely recommend for a day outing with family. Close to the as well. Rest rooms are available and clean. Airport nearby, trains going on the bridge an amazing sight for the always. Oh also there's a nice playground for the with swings and see saws.. A great day out for young adventures. A large play area for little children to take full advantage. Lots of open grass areas for games and BBQs and fully catered for pets. The is a little expensive but it's the only facility around for a drink or snack. Lovely place for a family with the dog. Plenty of open space and woodland walks, as well as a lovely stretch of pebble beach. Amazing place for long walking with friends, family or dogs. Nice views. Caffè shop on the end the road. Large car park. Perfect place to take a rest and chill. Recommended 💯% Beautiful chilly sunrise stroll. Will again in warmer months and look out for more bird life It's a nice place to especially if you have dogs. Loads of room for them to and run. There's a little play area for younger children and a little café/restaurant there tho I did not go in there. There is a toilet block and a carpark tho spaces are limited so on a busy day it would be difficult to up. The views are quite stunning. It wil be quite the place to especially in the spring/summer months. Vast green space, perfect for dog walking or summer picnics. Small sells local treats and hot drinks. The viaduct is dramatic and cool. The is stony and forms part of the coastal walk. A hidden treasure offering something special for hikers, dog walkers and nature lovers. The landscape is way refreshing and you’ll forget everything once you are here. Highly recommended for a peaceful stroll. I enjoyed the and the very much. We also had milkshakes (bannoffe, mint choc chip, birthday cake), which were amazing! 100% definitely recommend. NICE TO IN SUNNY DAY, CAR PARKING 1 HOUR £1 AND £2 for 2 hour. 2 Parking spaces in between forest and main car with and activities for children. Nearby and nice trail to in hill...
