Brean Leisure Park

Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom Amusement park

Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very big theme park, lots of that are decent and food outlets, worth noting that it's £1 per token and most are 3,4 or 5 tokens each so up to £5 per person per ride A society round of Golf was arranged on the 18 hole Brean golf course, bacon rolls and tea/coffee to start. Service was very good, golf course was well managed and mostly in very condition, greens were in reasonable condition. A pleasant afternoon in the sun, very changing facilities but we only just squeezed in a beer as the bar closed at 5pm. Had a really day out here. Is advisable to buy wristband online cheaper than paying at the gate. Food Hall on site as well as a pub with live music acts. Not cheap, not cheerful. Price is height dependent so you will pay adult prices if you are lucky enough to have a tall seven year old. Nowhere on the website does it state that are not in use or being fixed etc so you find out when you arrive. We actually got informed of the ride closures by the second member of staff to serve us. The first had trouble issuing our wristbands. But what can you do once you have travelled miles and miles to go out for the day.. say, "actually, due to these 12 not running, I'll turn around and go all the way home with these two girls who I've Brought out for their birthday treat" .... ??? Further to this, the price of food was ridiculous for what you got. £4 for a small tray of chips that looked burnt. Costa on sight didn't accept costa points, toilets were locked and when i asked for the key the staff didn't have one. I was told to use the main facilities. They didn't even use the coffee machine, they used a vending machine to make the coffees and other drinks. Yet there was a massive line to be served. Worst costa i have ever encountered. Overall the site was clean and tidy. The that were open looked safe and well attended. But the only other thing i will add is when the staff went on breaks they shut the ride down instead of getting cover. Which was a tad annoying for those who had already spent an age in line to get in. Something i noticed across the whole of the day. The toilets were "ok". I've seen worse! But something to note was there was the option of a shower. Something I've not seen before in public toilets. I believe you can bring your own food and drink into the park - not alcohol (for obvious reasons!) so i suppose the cost of food within the park can be your own personal choice. But will be (even the grown up ones!) and demand their seaside treats that will cause you to have to dig deep! We visited on a sunday and there was a market on alongside the park. We took a stroll through here to kill some time as the had been on all the open that they could in less than an hour so most of the day was spent going in circles. I don't think I'll be returning again. Not for the price. £5 just to get inside and best part of £30 for a child to ride as she was over their height limits for a "child" (x2 as we took a friend) seems a bit steep. I feel I've BREAN a bit ripped off! Had a brilliant day. Had the top up card for my children as worked out for us as we were only there a few hours. Had a walk round the market which was okay. Paid £7 for a hat and then saw it cheaper £5 on a stall round the corner. Didn't have to queue long for the rides. Go karts were a favourite for my oldest son. Park was very busy and just needed a little tidy up throughout the day. Toilets were very clean. Amusements were good. Staff friendly and helpful. All and fun, the loved it but the are a little too expensive and the parking system is a rip off. It only offers you a days parking option even if you are staying 1 hours you will have to pay the £4 for the day Great day out for the family, reasonable prices for all day wristbands for all the family or just the kids! Near by pub for the parents/adults to have a pit stop for the to have fun at the fair called The Tavern, which provides a variety of meals and drinks which is dog friendly outdoors and indoors! They have a on site Costa coffee shop which supplies dog scooby snacks and treats for your furry family members which is supplied with silk warm blankets for a cwtchy nap and water bowls for when they are thirsty! They also have a near by Market selling everything you can think of at cheap bargains from food, drink, clothing, home/garden supplies etc. Id recommend for any family for a day out any age, bare in mind have your cash as well as card as some of these places take cash and not card! Enjoy the sunshine and a iced cold beverage within your visit. Went to the Tavern in brean leisure park with family and asked for a bottle of house wine and didn't know till it was too late opening the bottle they had charged £20 for it Rumours Chardonnay is only £5.79 on line. We was warned by customers and staff not to get served by the blonde lady with colouring in hair as she over charges. I thought it was a joke but they proved right. Watch your prices on this place or your going to be sorry. I must say the Bucket and spade has great entertainment for the every night, this place is ajoined to the Tavern so same staff.
