Way better than I thought it would be. Welcoming and helpful staff, food was very hot and not overcooked. No long waits between starter and main. Booked the table in advance in the morning which seemed to be a idea. Would happily stop in again We had a positive experience at the restaurant, where the food was reasonably priced, and our table received excellent service from Leanne and Tay, making for an enjoyable visit. While the establishment could benefit from some renovations, I understand it is now under new management, and I am optimistic that they will enhance the ambiance. Overall, it's a great place to dine if you are hungry and on a tight budget, offering value for your money. Arrived here today to smash some grub, I was not disappointed, I went to the bar and ordered some grub for myself and the wife the portion size was fantastic each bite brought me a step closer to pregnancy by the time I finished my main I was ready to give birth to multiple toilet children. The taste was to die for and the service was fantastic. After I ordered a pudding where the manger insisted I ordered a second slice ( I have no idea what she implying ) but she wasn’t wrong two slices was much better than one but now I feel like I’m overdue and that I might have to have these toilet children cut out. What a service great fantastic with our kids and very welcoming. We have been a few times now and everything has always been fab! We stop on our way home, and the food is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and calm, the are super friendly. The service is great and fast and bonus dogs are allowed inside. A very welcoming place. Has free Wifi and can order food from the app. Not many places to charge phones though and seating is a bit cramped. Quite a bit of parking, though some is a bit awkward on the hill. Standard pub food, great prices lots of deals. gluten free options (though you have to use the menu online there is no physical version). It was quiet when we came and the food came really quickly. The were absolutely lovely, checked in and made sure everything was okay, really friendly and helpful. A very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We visit quite frequently and the are always friendly and the food is always tasty, and they are quite accommodating with changes you might want to make. Nice spacious pub, extremely value for money. I had a steak, chips, peas & onion rings for £14.99 and the steak was very impressive for the price. Thick, juicy, hardly any fat & cooked exactly how I asked for :) are very friendly & attentive. Really friendly staff. Even when I had a lovely steak meal it was busy with .any families the worked well together and was polite and kind to all so very impressed with this location on my travels 😀 Always happy faces behind the bar... especially the manager, she's very at what she does. Its always a pleasure to see such pride in a job role that requires an abundance of responsibility :-) I like to drop by in certain pubs for a quiet pint, during quieter times.....and I'll certainly keep coming back :-) We (2 adults, 2 children) visited today for the first time. Lovely clean pub/restaurant with a calming atmosphere. We ordered food and drinks which all came to the table extremely quickly. The drinks were perfectly made and the food came out piping hot. Tables were cleared in time and deserts delivered quickly too. All were attentive and we're glad we found this place and will definitely return when we return to the area for our future trips. This was our 2nd visit in the last few days. The have been extremely accommodating for us and our 7 month old baby who's they all talked to and loved. The food was brilliant as it always is. The quality is always and hasn't changed over the years.
