It was and is the perfect setting for a European vacation. Many sights are within train travel or automobile (in fact, you can rent one of their autos). Grossglockner, Kampenwand, Munich, Salzburg are so close and easy to visit. I enjoyed the breakfasts. Very nicely presented and delicious. Dinner times are also wonderful, the waiter Marcus is wonderful and very attentive to all diners needs. The food is great and always has a local grown item on the menu. Wonderful clean rooms, laundry service and some of the greatest hosts ever. Thank you so much for a memorable vacation. We will stay longer than 4 days next time. A true mountain retreat! We enjoyed an extremely god one night stay at this hotel. It is not a new hotel and this adds to the authenticity of the place. Dinner was very fine and breakfast the same. There was no noise apart from a very distant waterfall and the bells from the cows that moves about in the green fields below. The balconies on the sides of the building gave us the possibility of enjoying the mountains even more and the cosy outdoor sitting space under big parasols was the perfect place for a German local beer in the warm afternoon. Great location on the mountain. Hotel feels very new. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is also a Tesla destination charger.
