This lake is really beautiful, clean, and the water is the perfect temperature. It's an easy bike ride from most of the local villages and it's a lovely place to spend time. If it's sunny, be warned that the trees are too young for good shade. There are several grills and fire pits, however there is no food stand for purchasing beer or snacks. Make sure to bring your own food and drink. There are also very limited toilet facilities and so use the lake or go before leaving. Nice local lake. Easy to get to. Used to be a quarry, but has recently been 'upgraded' to a recreation area, with parking, lawns and easier access. Downside is more people now as well. The nearby village of Högling is very picturesque and sports two restaurants/beer gardens both worth a try.
