We had dinner here 2 nights. Great atmosphere and definitely no complaints about the food, the portions or the price. Will definitely be back. Booked a table for a party of five for lunch mid week. Booking was easy and done in a nice manner . On arrival we were greeted and taken to the restaurant where we decided on the table and then ordered a variety of things from the menu. Staff were both helpful and nice and patient ; they had to be ,decisions decisions were slow on our part . Food came and all looked very appetising ; it was good too and everyone was happy . I remember the food from years ago being very good and while the menu style had changed the quality is still very good . No hesitation to recommend and I look forward to returning. Thank you Clachan team . This is the second time we’ve eaten here and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is so lovely - cosy and quaint with nice decor too. The staff are friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was 10/10 - tons of choice, big portions and delicious. I had the seafood trio to start and it tasted so fresh. The salmon was incredible - full of flavour and presented beautifully. We had multiple cocktails too and every single one was really nice and presented well. We can’t recommend this place enough - it’s a treasure. Lovely restaurant. Excellent food. I had lasagne and my wife had the steak pie. Both first class. Great choice of whiskies as befit the oldest pub in Scotland. Well worth the trip. This was the first hotel we stayed at on our west highland way journey. Rooms were well maintained and clean. We shared a bathroom with one other room which wasn't bad. Staff was great and we were even able to check in early which was so appreciated after a long day. Dinner was fantastic. One of the best we had during our 12 days in Scotland. Excellent meal - proper good quality pub grub. Lots of choice on the menu. I had fillet steak and he had fish pie. Lots of food - too much for me but thoroughly enjoyed. The service - lots of young staff was brilliant. A great find recommended to us by the owner of our nearby accommodation. We had an excellent meal for two here. Though they were extremely busy, all the young waiting staff were refreshing very attentive and with such a good professional approach. Not surprisingly the service was excellent and food well presented and delicious. Many thanks for making our last evening of our break in Loch Lomond feel special. Scottish hospitality at it's best! I stopped here a few times on my walking holiday and the staff and locals were so welcoming and friendly. They found a table for me and my dog in the bar when we arrived late, tired and hungry. We'll both be back.
