It was an extra foggy day, but the wooden pathway leading to the lake, the low shrubs left and right, the absolute serenity and total seclusion of the place all mixed together created an unforgettably beautiful atmosphere of a swamp lake, mostly forgotten, yet so special to the visitors who make the effort to visit. A highly, highly recommend pit-stop across Pohorje mountains (especially in combination with stopping at Ribniška Koča afterwards for mushroom soup and blueberry strudel).
