Great free aire too Did not want to pay 8 Euros per person to go inside as we have seen several great castles in France lately. Looks great and well maintained from outside. In fact all the old homes and buildings have been well maintained in Dinan. It is a great old town to visit. A beautiful with a beautiful team at reception! This is a really well maintained castle. A leaflet self guides you around a fabulous tour of the two towers. Very interesting visit indeed. Nice little castle. Not the most interesting I've visited, but being a freak, I've seen the biggest ones. But if you are in Dinan, I recommend you to go there, as you can learn about the history of the city and surroundings, there are chambers to visit and a nice artillery exhibition. All in all, about an hour will do A great attraction, would certainly recommend to anyone who is interested in history and is visiting Dinan. It’s worth mentioning that all the information boards are in French, English, and Spanish. Nicely restored castle, however the interior is rather bare, no furniture from appropriate period, no tapestry, empty walls. The weaponry and armor exhibition was fun for kids.
