We live in France and were a bit anxious about sending our son alone in Slovenia but Steve reinsured us all along the process so that we left our son with no stress. He came back after 2 so happy that we would recommend Explorer to anyone. He made very good friends, loved the environment in Velenje and all the teams. He felt safe everytime. He goes back again this year ! A fantastically run English speaking summer for kids! Our two children had an excellent time and they're very much looking forward to going back again this year and, I'm guessing, in the years that follow... :) The fact that it's a technology-free makes it's even more of a jewel, especially in this part of the world. From the very first moment, we felt complete peace of mind. It was clear that everything was organized with clear structure, abundant experience, strong educational and professional skills and above all, 100% genuine care. Our son returned full of joy and unforgettable memories: the thrilling Tribe Wars spirit as part of the Blue Tribe, exciting activities like belly kayaking, river and lake adventures, creative teamwork challenges, and the pure fun of friendly competitions (including that legendary paint fight!). Every day was filled with laughter, discovery, and new friendships. We were moved before camp, moved during as we saw the updates and photos, and moved again after hearing our son’s stories and seeing the sparkle in his eyes. It was truly a gifted experience for him, and for us as parents. She had chosen Explorers through her own research, and identified it as the she wanted to go to. And she was right! She had a fantastic week, was constantly busy (no phone!), meeting friends from a variety of countries, and she is still talking about the a few later. Well done to Steve and the Explorers for such a great concept, hopefully we will be back again next year. My daughters have been attending Steve’s camps for the last few years and thoroughly enjoy them. Additionally, as parents, we value the counselling and personal development that Steve and his team deliver. We’ll be back again this year!
