Psichro, Greece Cultural landmark

One of the Best Places To Visits in Psichro Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very kitschy and cheesy, but gives a little overview of many Greek gods and their common stories in an accessible, visual way. It's really a hard place to describe accurately, but good for what it is, and took us about 40 minutes to see. It uses an guide with your phone and able to connect to their wifi. The 50 tracks vary in length but are often quite brief, typically under a minute but ranged 4 seconds to just over 4 minutes. A few only say a lame sentence about what the god is, but others are somewhat informative. Toilets clean, though fyi no seats on women's commodes. Small cafe with a few snacks and gift shop also available. Car below is shared between sites and restaurants. There were several free spots when we visited (Sunday afternoon in July) though imagine this might be busier she the cave reopens next year. Note: photos in review in order of tour Nice if you’re interested in learning about Greek Mythology. This has some nice and interesting displays and some outdoor areas as well. To listen to the information in your language, you can scan a QR code on your phone which will play out loud. I liked this museum, however, I wish there was a bit more to it and wish it also gave a discount for young adults/students. But either way, still worth checking out. This was an unexpected and overwhelming experience! You pay only 8 Euro und you get a free audioguide for your phone (bring headphones!) and entrance to this beautifully designed interactive where you immersive into greek with stunning images and scenery depictions of stories like Heracles' deeds, the troyan war and so on. Sehr schön, war auf jeden Fall wert es mal gesehen zu haben. Ist zwar wirklich abseits aber dafür sehr schön gemacht und das tolle Souvenirs kann man hier auch sehr günstig bekommen. It's surprisingly large and very detailed. Highly recommend getting the guide, which is available to use on your own phone! A must-see while also visiting the Cave of Zeus nearby. Fantastic museum, v interesting, good tour.great value for money Eine ganz toller mythologie mit interessanten Geschichten über die mythologie When up into Zues cave. It was a hard, long walk up but was worth it. There are donkey taxis if you struggle. Inside the cave was amazing. The view from the top was wonderful Really nice place. Owner did amazing work with care every detail. You can see not only mythological aspects but he show real life antique Greek velage. Place what you need watch by yours trip to Zeus cave. It's just located at the end of parking An absolutely amazing experience! The entire is handmade with incredible detail and passion. We were warmly welcomed by the owner’s father, who took the time to explain everything to us. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what they do. The guide, available in several languages, makes the even more immersive. A must-visit for anyone interested in or looking for a meaningful experience! Best in Creta We went to the Greek recently as part of a day tour, when the Cave of Zeus was closed. We had no idea this even existed and it was really great. Everything has been made and well-presented with so much love, care, attention to detail, enthusiasm and passion by the who own it, from the Greek myths and gods to the outdoor Greek country scenes complete with farm animals that make noise as you walk past. Thoroughly enjoyed it! A place to and highly recommended. Go and support this little business who are doing a job of providing such a terrific tourist attraction. An experience! If you are interested in greek then this is the place to start your journey- everything is so well explained and the life sized exhibits are something else. You get to learn about all the important gods of ancient Greece and also learn a bit about the Lasithi plateau and how it was once full of beautiful white windmills. Highly recommend Wunderschöne Landschaft We spotted this place by a total accident while returning from our trip to the Zeus cave and it was more than 100 % worth it!! At the entrance they provide you with an audioguide which is already included in the price and available in many different languages. The spots are placed both inside and outside, all are very interesting and informative. You can also try pottery yourself at the territory 😄 Once you are done with all the spots, an enormous gift shop is ready to welcome you just before exit. Here you can find tons of beautiful and tasty little gifts for your and yourself) I’d recommend homemade olive oil, wine and statues of Greek gods - true masterpiece!❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am passionate about mythologie and I didn't find it special, it was quite boring. I didn't like how the statues are made or painted, but I think this is an art preference and everyone has to decide for themselves. The guide is okay, but i found it laking, I think one could say a lot more about the mythologie and history. I wouldn't it again. Brilliant value, fascinating recreations of all the Greek gods and myths you've ever heard of...all run by a lovely friendly family. The setting overlooking the Lasithi plains is perfect. Recommended. We visited the Greek on Crete with the whole family. Our son is very passionate about Greek – he has read more than 30 books on the subject – and for him, this was a real adventure. The is very interesting, with many locations, everything well labelled, and we truly enjoyed walking there in the shade of the trees. After the park, we also took the path leading to the Cave of Zeus. Unfortunately, it was closed at the time of our visit, but nevertheless, we had unforgettable emotions from exploring this park. Really good places to and spend a couple of hours. I'd call it a rather than theme park. There are impressive exhibits which depict many of the stories of Ancient Greek Mythology, an guide you access on your phone via QR code talks you through each exhibit or there are info plaques if you prefer. Very reasonably priced (Adult €8), cheaper than I expected it to be. I would definitely recommend visiting and there are a few other things to do near by to make up a full day out. Very interesting place to for those passionate about Greek mythology. Absolutely brilliant. Kitsch as hell and lovely staff. Once they reopen the caves it's a brilliant day for the whole family, especially if you have any myth crazy or budding classicists on your hands. I'd argue it's just an hour with the caves closed but the local tavernas all look so worked well with a slap up lunch for now. I really love the theme park. It is built and owned which you can see in all the little details in the different stories. From a historic and mythological point of view everything is explained in a way that is easy to understand and is entertaining at the same time. After learning a lot about Greek you walk through the gift shop where you find handmade ceramics next to honey from the region as well as wine from the owned winery. I can only recommend the visit. It is entertaining for both young and old.
