How can we celebrate Russian liberation when they fight an unlawful war against Ukraine? Commemorates an important historical event: the liberation of Kirkenes by Soviet troops during WWII. Current relations with Russia have chilled because of the situation with Ukraine. Right now Europe needs different kind of help. Nice and clean. Put up for political reasons after Norway joined NATO. Kirkenes has a very interesting wartime history. It’s importance could increase in the future if the Barents Sea, as a result of climate change and melting sea ice, makes a new shipping route to the east viable. I appreciate the liberation, but not the subsequent actions. With the Google protocol in place, I cannot fully express my opinion of Ruzzia.
