Very nice to take a short walk. Nice promenade, with a splendid view on the Rhine and the bridge. However, the promenade is also accessible for people on bikes. Some of them are carefull but quite often the pedestrians have to lookout in order to avoid collisions. This makes the promenade far less okay to walk around. Watch yourself and your kids. First time in the city, I did a walking tour in Emmerich, the guide was absolutely fantastic. After little walk through the small village, some shops, Caffee cake shops, and 2 church free of entry.
