An OK place we wondered in for a late night drink and a dance. It seems to be very popular with tourists. Very busy, especially the dance floor. Nice music for all tastes. The old Rumour was my favourite bar - R&B music and causal people inside. Yesterday night at 23:00 I wanted to go in and a girl stopped me on the door to ask me for a reservation. She told me that there was no place. And the bar was 90% empty. One waitress offered me a table out in the corner, where we cannot listen to the music. And we left, of course and don't think to go there again. How much will they ask me for reservation? 60-100 euro? Everybody in this city is playing a "high class"? ***If you are not Caucasian and can’t not speak Greek without reservation, don’t even try to get into *** I was trying to go into the Rumours with two of my friends to celebrate his milestone event and when we try to get in the bouncers stopped us saying that we need to wait.( Whilst some VIPs or people with relationships just walk straight into it). We later called the guy called Artemis and tried to made a with him but he refused to offer help and blamed us that we didn’t ring the hotline. One of my friends tried to talk to the bouncer with Greek and he offered us to paid €200 for a table onsite which is a big robbery for us.It’s 21st century is it that hard to install a tablet in front for people to get a ticket on site or setting up an website for reservation. There are a lot of ways to make both the customers and workers hassle free to enjoy their weekend. Also Limassol is full of tourists from around the world, if your bouncer sees people that are different from their races, can they stop judging us as Poor, miserably and just destroy their vibes. Not a lot of people like Cypriot like the flex their money even though they haven’t got that money Extremely loud. The music can be heard from over 100 meters away through the double-glazed window, especially clearly around 1-3 AM. The owner, apparently, is unaware of the law on quiet hours. Never go to bar where they have face control and decide to let you in by your outfit. I moved in to my new apartment nearby and decided to search for new bar where I can have my evening drinks 2-3 times a week. I was in casual outfit and they didn’t let me in. Lost potential permanent client I feel like the owner changed and without deposit you can’t get inside Scammers. Made a for two. Asked us about our ages and all. Not once did they mention a minimum charge of €200(!). Only when the bill came. There's nothing on their facebook page. There's nothing anywhere mentioning a minimum charge. Club has a very good energy with nice music. Amazing atmosphere ! We enjoy it every time! The owners and are very friendly. We always feel like home there Disrespectful! Racists! They didn't let us go because of dress code. I asked him what's the problem with our clothes? The door guy was looking at us with arrogance. Specifically he did a HANDSHAKE for our clothes! Full disrespectful! (Waiting a "clown" comment like: "oh there is nothing personal". He did a handshake when i asked him what's wrong with our clothes). He told us that the shoes (birkenstock) were opened! One minute later a client (he hug the door guy, maybe they were friends) entered with slippers! I asked him why this is happening? And all of sudden he remembers that my clothes weren't appropriate! (Before one minute the problem was the shoes) I was with a jean bermuda and a t shirt! In 2025, you can't judge one person (who came from another country to drink and relax) by his clothes. They think that they are new york gala but instead they are villagers with inappropriate and disrespectful behaviour! Never suggest that place for one reason. First of all we are humans. Never happened something like that in any other country i have visited! And they are plenty of them! Dress code. Code is something specific. For example, you have to wear black. You have to wear glasses. But a code depends on door guy's eye, it's a joke. If you are euros and not a person, come here! Otherwise, find something else to have fun! The atmosphere of the lounge is undeniably elegant, and the setting has potential for a great night out. However, we were disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding costs. A minimum charge of €138 was only revealed after we had already committed, which left us feeling misled. For a venue positioning itself as high-end, clear communication should be a priority. Surprises like this can overshadow the experience. Transparency builds trust, and unfortunately, this was missing. Scortesi però male non qualificato poco gentile vi squadrano da testa a piedi e chi vi squadra non è manco 1/10 dello standard della decenza, very irrispecfull very unconfortable place they said that you have to be 23 years old for “rules” but they let join our friend that went separate and they was 19 don’t go there if you want to have good vibe and pass a goo night injustice is what descrive that place 0 i will not suggest this place to any turist i am spilungone for italian dutch French Spanish don’t go there 0 stars if I can The are racist. They need to change the working at the entrance, both the men and women. The place has a good reputation, but the reality is quite different. Two friends and I tried to get in, but the wouldn't let us in. According to them, we didn't have enough money to spend, and we were probably poor without realizing we earned more than them, which is highly likely. They said all this in Greek, forgetting that we had already spoken Greek, as I speak at least a little of the language. The tried to ruin our evening, and this didn't just happen once, but twice. The owner needs to fire these racists because they're destroying the place's image Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was refused entry by the girl at the face control for no reason at all, even though my friend was already inside and personally confirmed to her that I was invited and that we had an appointment. Her response was literally: “I’ll let you in when I feel like it.” That’s not security — that’s pure arrogance and lack of professionalism. Completely ruined the evening. If that’s the level of attitude, the place doesn’t deserve its reputation.
