A nice place where you can hear the story of in Cyprus and have some information. You find some old tools for making. I was expecting something bigger and more interesting but it is always good to visit if you are a lover. We purchased tickets @ 10€ each. We were given a very brief talk about the museum and watched a video for a few minutes. Tasted 1 of the wines and had grape juice from a box. A pleasant stop if you're in the area. For €15 you get a short tour, a look around, and the chance to try a few wines and zivania. It's a nice experience, though more of an introduction than a real degustation, so don't expect deep knowledge here. Still, it's worth a visit if you're nearby. PS worth calling them before the visit. One of the most interesting museums on the island. There is also option available on the site. We bought some for the dinner afterwards. Amazing quality! We highly recommend to visit this museum. Very nice experience to discover the history and method of Cyprus wine. Very interesting and concise overview of 5000 years of making on Cyprus with a display of impressive archeological artefacts. And we took the full and spirits which is recommenbale (including tastefull local bites, spitting pot -for the driver- and fresh water). And as more before us, we couldn’t resist buying the kinds of bottles to our likings. And yes, there’s something for everybodies taste. A must-visit in Cyprus! Just minutes from Kourion Beach and the archaeological site, the Cyprus Museum in Erimi is pure charm. Housed in a beautifully restored medieval building, it offers a cool, peaceful escape filled with fascinating wine-making history and artifacts. The staff are warm, welcoming, and wonderfully knowledgeable. I savored every sip of the delicious wines and grappa, along with tasty snacks. A perfect blend of history, beauty, and flavor, and one of the true highlights of my trip! Absolutely great experience. Highly recommend booking the full tour and in advance. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and so passionate about both the history of and the influence of Cypriot and so attentive to answering questions and not feeling rushed. The after the historical tour was also amazing. The guide made us feel at home and gave expert advise and shared experience that helped our group, with different knowledge of wines, get the best from the session. Overall great value for an in depth historical look at and that wasn’t just a hard sell A small museum with an interesting exhibition featuring authentic artifacts from the past. The staff is very friendly and the is excellent. I recommend visiting if you're in the area. Very little, personnel gentle but didn’t know so much about and history in Cyprus. However, is interesting. Maximum half an hour and it’s done. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I and my family had at the Cyprus Museum on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. We visited the museum at approximately 1:40 PM and purchased tickets for the standard tour and a Plus package. Upon entering, we were greeted by a female receptionist who displayed an unprofessional and rude demeanor throughout our visit. Despite our polite requests, the receptionist was dismissive and exhibited a lack of customer service. She was impatient, spoke to us in a rushed and condescending manner, and made several offensive comments about my wife and mother-in-law. Furthermore, the receptionist failed to provide adequate service, such as preparing the as promised and conducting a comprehensive tour. I am deeply disturbed by the racist and discriminatory treatment we experienced. Such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of the Cyprus Museum. I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I am available to provide further details if necessary.
