What an awesome experience! We decided we needed to do something totally different and not just sit in a pub getting sloshed. Well this was absolutely fantastic. Zack was incredible and really friendly. I would highly going and challenging yourself to break out. Thanks guys and gals, we will be back. We did the zombie-themed and had a blast. The puzzles were mostly clever, though some clues weren’t very obvious and one even involved removing a sign from the wall, which felt a bit contradictory given the instructions not to damage anything. The host was friendly and charismatic, although his tone got a bit playful-confrontational by the end — but it was all in fun. We managed to with just 23 seconds to spare, so it was definitely exciting and tense! Would if you want a challenging and enjoyable experience. Breakout is by far my favourite company so far, I’ve done all of the in Manchester and I’m starting to travel out. The we did was dead end, and never have I struggled to do a so much (in a way), I have done over 30, and even work at my own room, and I’ve never had a better . The staff have been attentive and so friendly. The are always amazing, and while this is my first one at Chester, I doubt the quality changes. Dead ends looked amazing, so immersive, and I have to say whoever worked on making this needs a kiss 😘. I finished (as a group of 2) with 2:02 remaining but I am convinced we had extra 😂. Elowyn thank you for watching me crash out over the puzzles and for being so lovely!!! And for giving us such a experience. Atmosphere: 5/5 Puzzles: 5/5 (recommend 3-4 players) Experience: LOVED! This was a really experience. We did the wizard one as fans of Harry Potter and it was a room. Really fun and work to get yourself out. Completed it with about 10 minutes to go. Would recommend. Had a time. We did the Scrooge Christmas one. Two adults, a 15 year old and an 11 year old. Everyone got involved and it was just the right level of difficulty for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. location to go out and eat afterwards. Whilst visiting family, we completed several as part of our trip - Breakout Chester immediately caught our eye with their well put together trailers and enticing themes. We're now planning further trips to Chester so that we can come back and do more of the on offer. Myself and my partner did the Cursed Carnival first and this was so we decided we had to do some of the others (sadly the ones we really wanted to do next all got booked up but we will be back to do them) - Gemma, our host, was lovely and when we asked for her favourite rooms/recommendations at the end, we were thrilled to hear some of them were the ones we were looking at doing. We then came back with my brother to do the Dark Magic one as Gemma had told us it was one with more puzzles than padlocks which we really wanted. Without giving too much away, this second was still fun but as an easier/more entry level room, we were sad it was just a single but did still greatly enjoy the puzzles over needing to just find codes and number combos for padlocks like we had done in a different establishment. Overall, very positive and we will definitely be back in the future to do the we didn't get a chance to do first round. Elijah was our game operator and he was brilliant. We had a and we needed a few nudges and they came just at the right to help our boys solve a couple of the harder clues. We did the vault as a family and our 11 & 13 year old boys were able to solve a lot of the clue's without too much intervention so that kept them amused. Thanks Elijah! Me and a friend went for his birthday and it was great. We had Lucie as our mentor and she was very helpful and clear when explaining things. We completed the wanted with 4 minutes to spare and will definitely be going back, would recommend! Celebrating my daughters birthday, we played Dark Magic and had an absolute blast! The Game Operator, Elis, was brilliant, and the whole team did a fantastic job creating an immersive experience. We escaped the Headmaster's office with seconds to spare - a challenge for our first room! Highly Breakout for a fun, thrilling experience. Can't wait to come back!" So fun, been there a bunch of times with friends and always had a blast. I can’t credit the staff enough theyre so welcoming, friendly and funny and generally make the whole better. Highly recommend!! Leaving my review here, but will also add to trip advisor once it will let me 😅 This place is brilliant, the games are really well thought out, and provide a great, immersive 😁 The two I've done recently were Vacancy with Lucie as our game runner and Dead End with Eve as our game runner. Both were brilliant! Vacancy was great, and really felt like you were stepping into an old motel. Dead end... not for the faint hearted, from the creepy music to creaky floor boards and bangs from the front door, everything added to our and had us scared zombies were actually coming to get us 😂 Both were a fantastic time, only made better by the game runners. Both were lovely, helpful, and really knew the stories behind each and set the scene so well. Even though we didnt make it out of dead end, which I will try again at some point 😅, the days out were still fun, and I look forward to coming back again soon to try out another 😁 Thank you breakout chester, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon 😁 Jay was great! We did the murder one and OMG, the aesthetics are amazing. Jay was especially when we were on our last clue and…well, you’ll have to find out for yourself! My girlfriend and I did the Dark Magic room. It was excellent and our Game operator Wilfred was wonderful. highly and we would absolutely do it again. Me and the wife decided to spend the weekend in Chester. She wanted to do an room, and I didn’t. So we compromised and did an room. Despite wanting to hit my head off the professor’s desk numerous times we had a and eventually escaped! Gemma and Lucia were enthusiastic and hosts. Would definitely recommend.
