It was very busy today because of their offers this weekend. Downside was that there were a lot of running up and down slides and throwing things (but you expect some of this at these places) my criticism is that made multiple announcements about parental supervision and not letting climb up slides etc, these were ignored by most and failed to act. Perhaps they were a bit overwhelmed. A little hidden gem . Ideal from birth up to about 6 ? Small enough to be able to monitor your little cherubs. I will definitely be going back.and can highly recommend. My son had a laser here at the weekend. The host was really hood and took care of anything. Several of his friends have declared it the best they have ever been too so was a success! We booked the Santa grotto experience again (have gone every year for the last few years). Every year Zippy's smash it! No waiting in a queue because they allocate you a time so we got to first then went 5 minutes before our time slot. The walk through where you get to snowball fights and talk to the elf is lovely. This year we got to make our own reindeer food which was a brilliant addition. Even better that it was truly animal/environmentally friendly with no glitter in. Santa is brilliant and so with the kids, truly an amazing Santa. For one child and two adults. Definitely not a family friendly price sadly. Was quite quiet so he did enjoy running around freely. Staff weren’t very helpful at all, asked if there was room for my little boy and was told she’d ask a manager … the place had hardly anyone in it , my little boy ran into the room which was empty and was told to get out as she saw I was clearly getting him out , not to mention he’s 1 so doesn’t understand a word she’s saying. Wouldn’t personally come back sadly. Quite small also. I'm quite the soft connoisseur these days. I have been to zippy a few times and it's not my go to just because it isn't the biggest but to be fair, it is the cleanest one I've been too, offers the best value for money and best range of food and my lad seems to prefer zippy to the others. There is a range of facilities for of different ages. I think the preschool offer is and they have tv characters come up and greet the children. Definitely recommend. I would say the ideal age is anywhere from 9 months to 7 years old. We have been coming to Zippy's since my little one was born 5 years ago. Today we attended for the Grotto which was just outstanding. The elves and Santa go above and beyond to make the experience magical. Best Grotto experience around. Thank you Zippy's. We had my daughters 1st birthday here today and it was brilliant. From start to finish everything was stress free and well organised. All were so lovely and they made her so special. All enjoyed the food too.I Recommend to book for in a Zippys . We had a lovely time Visited for first time yesterday and found it as advertised. Friendly helpful staff, loved the disco and sensory area and of course my granddaughter loved the areas. Not many visitors when I arrived at 09.50 but by 11.30 really filling up. Can be a costly venture though as can’t take own fluids in and I’d bought 4 within the 2 hours as well as treats. Should allow free water chambers due to running around so much enjoying themselves as they should do but not at a cost to the service counter. Was a Tuesday in the eater school holidays we booked for 1230-230 slot for our 10 month old (fairly mobile!). The baby sensory room is and there is a doorbell you can ring if older are in there and the will come and assist. There is a disco room, although we didn't utilise this. We used the under 3s area which has plenty for little ones to do and climb. There were some older running in and out not sure if someone had a word but they did stop quickly. Little one loved the food, myself and my partner didn't think it was but filled the hole! However the white chocolate and raspberry blondie was delicious! Happy tired baby at the end of it! Been here a number of times during the week and always had a experience. Visited on the weekend and was really disappointed by the attitudes of the team working, none of them interacted in a friendly, welcoming manner, especially the woman on the desk checking visitors in who was abrupt and rude, barely making eye contact. The facilities themselves are good, soft and clean baby change facilities. But service is completely lacking even the basics, so I would say not to expect anything on that front. Wouldn’t rush back based on feeling uncomfortable just for being there. Been taking our little one to Zippys for a while now, excellent facilities. This was the first year we had done the grotto experience,but will definitely do it again as very personalized to each child and magical for everyone. The perfect place for our son’s party. The venue is very clean and well kept. We would also like to say that Charlee our coordinator was absolutely fantastic. She was very informative about the timings for the day, made sure that everything ran smoothly and had such a warm and welcoming manner towards us all which helped us feel at ease as children’s parties for parents can often be very full on. She was with the and is the perfect example of what customer service looks like! A real asset to the company! Thank you Charlee we will definitely return for future birthdays 🎉 If anyone is thinking of a venue I would absolutely recommend zippys. We have been visiting Zippys for a few years now. I can genuinely say it’s one of the best areas that we’ve been too. It’s always clean and well maintained and my always have a lovely time. They always have really offers and the coffee is which is a must when you’ve got young children.
