To foreigners it should be allright . was great , but the is a reduced size compared to 15 years ago , dunno why ... . The place deserves 4 stars , only the pricing dragged id down. Edit 2025 . Entrance fee 80 lei / 16€ . Did it become gold ? just one year ago the entrance was 40-50 lei . A good place to unwind after hitting the slopes. Very cheap (25 lei entrance fee), the gave towels for a few extra lei. There's a pool, a smaller jacuzzi and three saunas. The staff is really nice. Clean water, beautiful landscape, they have a big 2 m deep, one small for kids 0.7 m deep (very small and busy). They have sunchairs to rent. It is closed on Thursday. You can sit on the grass also and you have shadow if you need. You can eat and drink at the restaurant inside the property. For example goulash soup is 20 lei. Pasta is 28 lei. I give 3 stars only because people seem to like it, though I don't. It was better 2-3 years back, but now there are a lot of issues (I'm referring only to the external pools). Here's what I could find: There are 3 outside, 2 for small kids with shallow (60-70 cm), and a big one with debts between 2m and 5m. I think debts between 1.5m and 3m would have been a better choice, but let's say this was OK. However, the was not clean. On the edges of the pool, there was a black line of dirt, which it looked like it was there for more than a year. There was a guy with an improvised scraping tool who was trying to clean it, but after 2 meters, he abandoned the process. Sure, you should not clean the in the middle of the day when everyone is coming. I tried initially to go on a Sunday, but it was very crowded, so we returned on a Thursday when it was better. It's not really expensive, but you pay more than what you get ( from Monday to Thursday, it's 35 lei for an adult and from Friday to Sunday it's 40 lei. Kids over 3 years pay 20 lei). The in the swimming was super cold. One of the small swimming was somewhere in shade most of the time, so that one was almost never used. In the changing cabin, there were some holes in the wall so that boys could see girls undressing. That is not ok. One of the small swimming had a wooden floor around it, but that didn't look well, and there were traces of blood on it. Someone should have cleaned it. I couldn't see any other people cleaning or a lifeguard. There were some objects for other activities, but they looked abandoned, and as there were so many long chairs, there was no room for anything else. The chairs were dirty, I don't think anyone is cleaning them besides the rain. Great place to visit you have a nice place to camp and relax however the closed swimming next to it has some silly prices and you have to leave the place within 4 hours if I remember correctly. The guy that sells tickets is not fit to work with customers, if you’re unhappy about something and try to talk to him you risk him becoming violent verbally and physically. Funny enough apparently he is the big boss there and he has all the final decisions. If you need to complain about anything he is all you get, and your complaints are for nothing unless you know his boss yourself as he won’t provide this information. I could say more but the most important thing is stay away, go to the next building with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, jacuzzi, massage for the same money or even cheaper as there the sun bed is included in the entry fee. Just do not confuse “ strandul Banffy” ( ( the bad place) with the Banffy leisure centre next to it which is indeed nice. Many good reviews from here actually refer to the leisure centre, it’s easy to confuse them. A kiszolgálás nagyon sok időbe telik!!!
