Awesome place! It is great fun even on a rainy day. We went there as a group, on a weekday and it was raining. There was only one other group. The personnel was helpful and prepared the protection against the rain for the cars. All went well. Tickets are 20 RON/adult and there is a cash deposit of 10 RON/card. Excellent mountain coaster experience! The location is easily accessible from the town of Toplita, 7-10 minute by car or 20-25 minutes walk. There is ample free parking space when you get there. If you like rides in general, you’ll love this one so make sure you get more tickets at once to avoid waiting in line too much (once at the cashier and once for the ride). The is quite long, with excellent thrilling slopes and curves, enough to get your adrenaline pumping. The climb back is also long and peaceful, just the perfect time to relax and think about your life choices. The whole coaster system is high-tech and very safe, with automatic breaking and constant supervision. The track is awesome. The location is great. There are plenty of parking spaces. There is enough room for your feet even if you are tall. Also, you can stay with your kid on your lap with absolutely no concern. Now, one for an adult is 30 lei, and for kids is 25 lei. That seems OK-ish, but if the kid is below 8 years and below 120cm tall, he can go together with an adult, but even if you use a single bobsled, you are paying for two, which is not really fair. There are no additional discounts for multiple rides. Kids been 8 and 14 can alone, and their pass is still 25 lei. Kids over 14 years are considered "adults". Here's my ranking of all bobsled tracks in the area: 1. The bobsled from Lacul Roșu (Red Lake). It's the best track, and the bobsled is comfortable. Also, you have many other options in the area to have fun with your family 2. The Toplita track (at Baciu). Is close to beauty with Red Lake. You also have places to spend with your kids, including horse riding. 3. The track from Durau. You have many options besides that. It's fairly cheap and worth going there. 4. The track from Borsec, nice landscapes, more expensive than Durau (if you go there with kids), no other options. In this ranking, I'm considering the quality of the experience, and even with 5 stars, there can be plenty of room for improvement. I'm just giving 5 stars as one of the best options in the area, close to the first place. This was my first time on a bobsled slope (pârtia de bob) and it was so much fun! At first, I thought it would be a relaxing to admire the surroundings, but in reality, it feels more like a roller coaster down the hill. Getting back to the top is easy, and once there you can simply sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful views. A fun and beautiful landscape however if you want to enjoy the i truly recommend you to stop at the beginning of the for a minute until everyone in front if you goes down and is not visibile anymore, it extremely annoying when the one in front goes slow or breaks the bob and you want to enjoy it full speed, also not so many facilities there , prices are quite exageratted for drinks especially, and the road very destroyed, difficult for 2 cars to pass and many holes, overall a fun on the mountains A very nice for adrenaline lovers. The felt safe the entire journey, both downhill as well as uphill. At full speed, on good weather, it takes just under two minutes for the downhill trip and about 7 minutes for the uphill.
