Nestled beside the river, this spot offers a fantastic view of the medieval Škofja Loka Castle and the charming Hudičeva brv (Devil’s Footbridge), which has its own local legend—be sure to read about it at the end of the path! The bridge was recently reconstructed after the 2023 floods, making it even safer and more beautiful. This is an ideal place to unwind, whether you're sunbathing, dipping your feet in the cool water, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere. Swimming is usually allowed, and you can check a local website for monthly water quality updates to be sure. One thing that used to make this place even better was a small summer bar, where you could grab a refreshing beer or another drink while soaking in the riverside vibes. Sadly, the bar hasn’t reopened after the floods, which is why I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Still, this river beach remains a wonderful place to visit—a quiet retreat where you can take in the town’s history, nature, and beauty all in one. Highly recommended!
