Nice place, good food and wine, but very crowd during the weekends If you plan to visit Romania, and you are in the South West part of the country…you need to stop to this place. This place offers rooms if you want to sleep over night or just take a week vacation in a small village in the mountains. The food is amazing. Traditional decorated. The stuff and services are excellent. We celebrated my dad birthday and they took care of us really well. It’s my favorite place when I visit it Romania. I do recommend it! With the kindness and availability of the hosts for accommodation, with rooms that are clean and arranged with good taste.  With internet/wifi speed over 100Mb/s both on the ground floor and upstairs.  In the attic you can enjoy a game of billiards, ping pong, fitness equipment.  The location is perfectly located to benefit from everything that nature can offer you: fresh air, forest, silence.  And when you want to feel really fulfilled, you also end up at the restaurant... Where you don't even know what to start with: with a wonderful sour cherry/blueberry, with well cooked soups cooked , or with some pantagruelic  menus.  The service is quick, all the dishes are tasty and designed to offer an authentically Romanian gastronomic diversity. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in Romania was in this hotel. They blamed us for their mistake in handling their contracts with travel providers companies - because they decided the prices listed on their websites were not high enough. With their moneygrabbing mindset they decided that the client has to pay because of their conflicts with travel platforms and their mismanagement of their accounts. We were forced, because of this and because we were turned down by the hotel which double booked the rooms, at 8 pm, with a 4 yo child, to go to another sub-par place and spend a lot of money out of desperation to have a place to put the child to sleep - even though we had a confirmed reservation in this place!!!!! Terrible terrible attitude of the manager too - i would be very careful choosing this place because you might endup with no place to sleep. otherwise,the hotel&rest looks nice, but i hope never to have to set foot there again Update after the reply: Da, sunt absolut sigura ca aceasta e locatia corecta, am detaliile rezervarii precum si poze de la conac (restaurant si lobby) care sa dovedească ceea ce am relatat. Din pacate nu am luat numele doamnei manager, insa categoric situatia nu a fost tratata “elegant” dupa cum ati relatat. We had the most amazing experience here over Christmas, the food was amazing and plenty, the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated.
