There is a small trail 10 Minutes to walk to the viewing point (also good for older people: my mother is 70 J. old and not good on feet). There is also a trail below directly next to Altantic Ocean where you can get closer to the Green Lake. Those who want to do hiking also can walk straight to Los Hervideros (about 1.5 h). Recommendable. Gorgeous area for a stroll, absolutely breathtaking scenery, nice restaurants nearby. Good and wear sensible footwear. The green lagoon was a part of the Timafaya tour. Beautiful scenery. Very interesting formations and colors, however get here early as it gets very busy. Interesting orgin explained on nearby view point info graphics, but in fact nothing really very special. You will see exactly the same view from above as on hundreds of pictures on the web. Close riffs and sea waves were better 😉 It's nature, not so sure how you can rate it by stars. Finding this place is obnoxious on my Google maps, I kept having glitches and bringing me to Green Lake Jr. For parking, just type in Siroco Coffee Shop and go there. They have a large lot and it is just a few minutes walk up a pathway to view the green lake. Alternatively, you can just head to El Golfo, find anywhere there and walk to the lake viewing area. Easy access to and easy access to beach Not quite as stunning as the photos, but well worth it if you like history and rocks.
