While the sommelier’s credentials promised an in-depth and insightful experience, the felt not organised, with quantity over quality as the focus. The group size was overwhelming, with over 50 people crammed into a cold, static factory hall where much of the and presentation took place. The entire lasted about 2 hours, and while it included a brief visit to the vineyard fields, the lacked the personalized attention and depth one would expect from such a professional. The began with a 23-minute talk inside the factory about the history of the family and the wines, which are produced by this very young vineyard (started in 2012). The vineyard walk itself was brief and felt like an afterthought, with just 10 minutes discussing the grape types and another few minutes on the process of protecting the vines during spring. The rest of the time was spent in the factory hall standing, talking about the factory’s fermentation and production process. As for the tasting, it was held inside the factory itself, using plastic glasses, which detracted from the experience. We sampled two white wines, one red wine, and two fruit wines—though there was no food or pairing to complement the wines, which would have enhanced the experience. While preferences are subjective, the quality of the felt lacking, particularly for a led by a sommelier. Fruit have much to be said for their complexity, especially from a vineyard so young and new, but the explanations were brief, leaving much to be desired. Overall, the felt impersonal, hurried, and lacking the attention to detail and warmth that makes tours memorable. I hope the vineyard rethinks the structure of their tours, particularly with such a large group, to ensure a more intimate and quality experience. I went to Winnica Dwórzno for a tasting. We tried 3 wines: a white, a smoky red, and one made from jagoda kamczacka. The guide explained Polish culture, which was interesting. But the whole is only in Polish, so it helps if you understand the language. I also tried the coffee degustation, though it wasn’t really for me. The style (small cups with quite a lot of water) felt a bit too diluted and didn’t bring out the richness of the coffee. The place itself is nice. There is a stage for music, fields for picnic, and a few stands. The energy is relaxed. It works well for a weekend trip with friends or family. Dogs and kids are welcome. Nice place! Better to visit not driving car, because vines are really super! Winery near Warsaw, great for one day trip. Personally I think fruit are the real specialty here. Light and sweet in green surroundings - perfect relax, they taste really good :) Take some food with you and have a picnic :) Nice place to visit, interesting excursion, funny personnel and of course good wine. The needs to be improved, like really consider the client during it. We spent 2 hours stand up in the hot sun listening to the history and process without nothing to drink or place to sit, so it was tiring and stressful.
