Jeho strategická poloha na 334 metrov vysokom Hradnom vrchu mu umožňovala kontrolovať obchodné cesty v tejto oblasti. Počas vykopávok sa našlo mnoho cenných nálezov, ako napríklad: Stredoveká brána s posedením a pôvodnými kamennými lavicami. Cisterny, ktoré zásobovali hrad vodou. Pri návšteve tohto miesta odporúčam prejsť sa cez most národnej spolupatričnosti, ktorý postavili v blízkosti hraníc so Slovenskom medzi vrchmi Szárhegy a Várhegy a spája Maďarskú Kalváriu. Z mosta sú krásne výhľady. V strede je presklenná časť s výhľadmi nie iba na okolie, ale aj dolu pod nohami. Krásne a zaujímavé miesto.
