Beautiful large grounds that make for a nice stroll. There are many century old trees, large ponds, and grassy areas to rest and relax on. The manor house is imposing from outside and adds some character to the area. Located in a really secluded area. The huge 100-hectare size is free to visit. You can even spend hours in the wonderfully maintained park. The staff is constantly working. Everything is tidy and clean. The cannot be visited yet due to renovations. The exterior of the buildings has already been beautifully renovated.Hopefully, the bathhouse by the small garden pond will also change to original beauty. Very beautiful, visit it. The Castle, renovated in the spirit of the 1930s, "takes you back" to that era with modern technology and interactive possibilities. The visít was a real experience. After the delicious cake and lemonade eaten in the cafe, we took a pleasant walk in the beautiful park, we were lucky enough to see a deer. Even today, the century-and-a-half-old sycamore is a pleasant memory. The Karoly and the surrounding offer a full day of great rest and relaxation. An absolutely stunning place to visit! We were there 2 years ago and they were on the process of renovating the palace, now they are almost done and will open it for the public on October. The palace grounds are fabulous, I'm in love with that beautiful park, it reminds me of Downton Abbey, just with a touch of Hungarian vibe added to it. Oh, and don't forget to check out the bicentennial plane tree not far from the entrance. It's a sight to behold. The best interactive exhibition, ever seen! You must stay inside more hours. The is also marvellous. Beautiful perfectly reconstructed with great calm energy and very nice and big around. Very nice exhibitions. Also coffee and cakes in cafeteria were very nice and served in stylish space. The became wonderful after the renovation, the is also beautiful, we were immediately seduced: we will come back here. If not with the picnic backpack they provide, but with a picnic basket, that's for sure. Tips: if you want to see all the interactive content, it is advisable to visit the during the week, because otherwise you have to constantly wait for a space in front of the screens to free up. The parking lot below, inside the gate, is reserved for the disabled, it is advisable to in the municipal parking lot above. The presso is a must-try, divine snacks and wonderful cakes are available. There is an escape room in the basement, the reception sometimes forgets to mention this. During the tour of the castle, pay attention to the fact that you can safely sit on the chairs that do not have small branches on them. Also pay attention to the environment, e.g. when the phone starts ringing, pick it up... Great place to visit during summer.
