Recommended The fortress lost most of its historical value after the reconstruction and was turned into an exhibition place. I missed the display original historical objects connected to Füzèr or the region. The views from the hilltop are amazing and you can learn a lot about how people lived in the via various installations. There are also free guided tours in Hungarian which you can join or you can get an audio guide in the visitor centre. Inside the visitor centre there is also toilet but drinks and food you cannot buy. However at the parking lot there is a kiosk with refreshments and also a fairy tale playground for kids in the forest. A fantastic at a truly fabulous location. 50-60% rebuilt from its ruins. We arrived at the parking spot during the week so it was not busy and without parking fee. Walked through the forest stopped by playground and continued up on path nicely following the signs. I really recommend it, we were surprised how well maintained it was. With toilets all around and trash bins all looking perfect and not disturbing.
