Coxhoe Park

Durham, United Kingdom Park

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A large park, play equipmemt for children and pitches for football etc. Enclosed all weather pitch. Several cameras on high poles so maybe not a safe place at night. Quite alot of rubbish about on the day i was there alas and alot of disposable vapes. Centre itself was great, large hall and a room with gym equipment. One squash court and general purpose fitness/dance room. Self service drink machine, coffee and tea in foyer, tokens from reception desk. Excellent for children, lots of things to do, ramps for bikes and skateboarding, a for the little ones, everything you can think of. Only one criticism a lot of litter dropped by people who can't be bothered to look for a bin. I would definitely go again though, with a rubbish bag this time to pick some of it up. A fantastic local gem – clean, safe, and perfect for all ages! Coxhoe is hands down one of the best-kept community parks in County Durham. I’ve been visiting regularly with my kids and every time we go, we’re impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and welcoming the is. The green spaces are tidy and well looked after, and there’s a real sense of pride from the local community. The children’s play area is brilliant – there’s a great mix of equipment for different age groups, from toddler-friendly swings and slides to climbing frames and adventure equipment for older kids. Everything is in excellent condition, which shows how much care and investment goes into the site. The skatepark is also a big hit with the older kids and teens. It adds a brilliant dynamic to the and encourages young people to get outdoors and stay active. There are also plenty of benches, open grass areas for picnics or ball games, and some nice walking paths around the site. It feels like a safe and friendly place for families, dog walkers, and locals to relax. Hats off to the parish council and volunteers who help keep it so inviting. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area! A great for all ages lots to do skate BMX and a ride around for kids has no toilets and could do with a bit TLC in places It was great. But the music was crap.!! Unlike last year's fireworks display. But it needs seats for disabled and elderly..It's a long time to stand about waiting for it to start. Then watch the display... My granddaughter loved playing on the swings and the climbing frames. A nice place for her to run around. Convenient walk for my grandchildren and our dogs Nice little park, playground and skating tracks are fine but the children play area just has a few things which can be increased as there is a lot of empty space there. Love it At little something for everyone. Good skatepark and climbing frames and slides for big and little kids. Pretty clean .. This is my childhood and its now weird that I'm taking my own little one to it. Has a skatepark, big green footy field. Nice clean, tidy park. Various of activities for a good age range of children/ teens Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
