Amazing views club house very good fish and chips excellent caravans very nice Absolutely stunning location, we've only been here 2 days and I could spend the rest of my life here, it has everything you need for a self catering holiday, especially if you Bring dogs that love the outdoors and love swimming, I can't emphasize enough what a fabulous place it is, if you love countryside then this is a special one We recently spent a weekend at Witton Country Park, and the itself was the highlight. This richly historic, Grade II* listed gem dates back to the early 15th century, rebuilt and restored over centuries – and today it forms the heart of a vibrant set in 330+ acres of woodland, lakes, and activity areas . The castle’s crenellated towers and fortified walls create the perfect backdrop to a uniquely charming park. It’s clear the caretakers work hard to preserve the structure, with the exterior and grounds looking well-maintained and inviting . You can wander through grounds and enjoy panoramic views amidst the architecture. During our stay in a modern, well-equipped caravan, we appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the staff who were especially great with kids . On-site facilities include a café, bar, fish-and-chip shop, playgrounds, soft play, lakes with paddleboards and fishing — so there’s something for all ages . Families will love the relaxed vibe, tranquil woodlands, and charm blending history with fun. Whether you’re strolling the lawns or launching a kayak, this place balances heritage and leisure beautifully. Witton Country offers a memorable break—historic, serene, and family-friendly. Highly recommended! Didn't stay here but have used the cafe, country and lake activities. location, loads of parking. I run with my dog here and amazingly beautiful location, really well maintained and the lake activities are really well run. Staff are all and friendly. Although inside the cafe is no dogs (apart from to order, there is loads of seating area outside with water bowls, my dog particularly loves their 'dog sausages!'. Highly recommend and one of my favourite places. Had a stay very nice and quiet site. Staff were excellent and wish we could have stayed longer. First time staying at Witton caravan park, hopefully won't be the last......Great for walks, and a reasonably priced bar, restaurant, chippie and tea room. Had a fab time👍 Absolutely for a holiday. walks around the to see the farm area surrounding, and one of the only places I've been which has so many poo bins. Cannot fault, and would come again Absolutely brilliant site. atmosphere in the castle, lots of walks and scenery to look at, nature (peacocks, squirrels & rabbits to name a few) is beautiful to see. Caravans are absolutely lovely. Alongside this, it is a location, a 10 min drive to the shops and countryside along the way. Additionally, there is a consistently fish and chips shop which never disappoints. My only complaint is the very large potholes along the exit route. Other than that a brilliant site. Would recommend to everyone. Sunday lunch fantastic even gluton free taste no different.very staff x The is a beautiful and has amazing views, I have been many times with my husband and kids and had a time with service however I am appalled by the lack of professionalism I encountered today. The red haired lady that served me in the bar made it apparent that she didn’t want to be there. There was not politeness and actually was talking and laughing to her co worker about me while I was stood right there. I saw her speak to multiple other customers the same way and as someone who has worked in hospitality before I know that this is not the standard at all. Stunning site, acres to explore, plenty to do for all ages. Dog friendly, fishing lakes, nature trails, streams and waterfalls, play ground, wild swimming, water activities, paddleboarding, canoes, country market every month, restaurant serves superb food. The is immaculately kept. After looking at every within 50 miles of Teesside, nothing else compared. Witton is a hidden gem 🥰 Fantastic accommodation great facilities and staff Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
