I've had a tough time getting into this place. First time, it had closed early. Second time, it they were on vacation. Third time was the charm and man, it was worth the wait. The was fantastic and food, even better. We shared a HUGE schnitzel that was obviously hand-breaded and pan-fried. The half-chicken was juicy and tasty, too. The interior looked nice and old worldy but the Biergarten had lots of nice touches and was the place to be that day. It was our second stop on the 7 Brewery Trail and a one. Must visit point! Strong recommended schnitzel and beer. Unfortunately, pets not allowed to restaurant. Best schnitzel ever! This place is a gem, discovered when my franconian neighbour invited us, the size was surprisingly big but the best part is the flavour and the crunchiness. So yummy and bring the rest for next day. They have their own and in summer outside sitting is great. The owner is always around serving and talking with people. Make a reservation beforehand if you don’t want to wait for a table.
