Small place more take away style than dine in. Abhishek (owner & chef) is really good and addressed our requirements regarding spiciness very well. In regard to food naans and kulcha were frozen not made fresh. Chicken gravy the chicken was cooked but not flavorful. IFB Dhaba Paneer & Chicken was good, will that item. Very food and a very chef. I can this place. Multi Talented Owner, Chef & Cricketer Abhishek deserves immense applause for his 5 star service, humble and warm welcome, amazing refreshing masala chai. Excellent and fresh made lunch , we ordered Paneer , Dal Makhni(surprisingly extra delicious) ,Bhindi, Rotis n Naans. Next time if I ever come back to Iceland, I'll come back to this place for sure. 👍 This place is famous for take out and delivery but also has limited space for dine in. Unlike many places in Iceland serving size here was good and satisfying After a long trip from hofn, vik, Selfoss and Reykjavik this is the best food. Person here is so sweet he customised food according to needs. Felt like home, strongly anyone who are craving for Indian food at Reykjavik. ❤️ & Authentic Indian cuisine in Iceland !!! When we were in an isolated island country and missing home flavors, this place came to our rescue. The shrimp coconut curry is a must try. Authentic Home style food, superb chef & Abhishek, loved the atmosphere, food and service. The best thing he asks how you want the taste and also give a small spoon to try if you want any chances to be done. All the best Abhishek to more years of success. Great Indian food spot in Iceland! This cozy restaurant has space for about eight people, creating a casual and atmosphere. Abi, the chef and owner, prepares each dish individually and adjusts the spice level to your preference. He also welcomes you with a smile and great conversation. I highly the Tofu Korma and the naan, you won’t regret it! We accidentally left a backpack there, and Abi was very responsive on Instagram, helping us recover it as quickly as possible. Truly excellent service! Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Reykjavik (so far)! Authentic flavors, generous portions, and a great who cooks everything himself. I've tried several places around the city, but this one definitely stands out. Fully recommended - keep up the fantastic work! Highly this Indian restaurant. The food was and the host is so friendly. We had two great nights there with funny conversations and authentic vegetarian food (tried both paneer and tofu and both were delicious). Food was really good! Proper Indian taste and pure vegetarian requirements fulfilled! Loved the service. Very and polite. Should really try them if you missing Indian food in Iceland This Indian restaurant exceeded all expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced — every dish felt like it was made with care and tradition. From the aromatic rice to the perfectly spiced curries and freshly baked naan, everything was simply delicious. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, easily one of the best Indian food experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended! Absolutely the best Indian food in Reykjavík! The flavors, aromas, and perfect level of heat make for a truly authentic experience. The chef is incredibly and happy to tailor dishes to your preferences. I especially the lamb nihari – it was the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth lamb I’ve had in Iceland. An easy 6 out of 5 stars! Highly recommended! Excellent food, cooked to order and adjusted to personal taste on spiciness level! Also super service and an opportunity to chat about cricket in Iceland. Das Essen war sehr gut einer der nettesten Köche die ich jemals erlebt habe alle waren freundlich eine Empfehlung für jeden der in Reykjavik ist Amazing authentic North Indian food. Every dish was and the size per portion was also extremely generous. Exceptionally help and accommodating who cater for all 25 of our groups requirements as very short notice. Highly these guys whilst you’re visiting Iceland. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Food Box, an exceptional restaurant located on the outskirts of Reykjavik. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the samosa chaat, a delightful mix of flavors and textures that was perfectly complemented by the freshly baked naan bread. Another standout dish was the egg curry, rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Each bite was a burst of taste that I couldn't get enough of. The atmosphere during lunch was welcoming, thanks in large part to the owner, Abhi. He is incredibly and attentive, ensuring every guest feels at home. His dedication to making sure we tried the best dishes truly elevated the experience. The only improvement I would suggest is better lighting, which would enhance the overall ambiance. I can't wait to visit again!
