We enjoyed the skol ritual, but I found the dry sauna too hot for me, but I loved the salt bath followed by the steam room. We soaked for about 3 hours and had a delicious platter. It’s super clean. There are two bars where you can get your alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage. I highly frozen strawberry margarita (I don’t have w picture of it) - it was strong, sweet and super cold, which was perfect for hanging out in such hot water. I would booking a transfer here as the public buses are a little inconvenient. The Sky was our very first stop in Iceland, and it was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long flight. My sister and I joked that it’s the Disney World of lagoons, every little detail is so thoughtfully done, and the whole place feels a bit magical. The locker rooms were spotless and well-stocked with everything you could need, towels, hairdryers, and plenty of space. There were even cubbies for shoes and robes before heading into the lagoon, and the showers were clean and relaxing. We felt comfortable and safe. The itself is stunning. We came with a group of 6 friends and we did it the night before their wedding day and it was the perfect timing for a relax evening before their important day! This would be a five star if the customer service and the ambience matched whats advertised. People were so loud and constantly talking - i mean everywhere. In the sauna, in the steam room, loudly throughout the lagoon. You had to even interrupt the staff from their constant loud personal conversations to ask them a question. The restraint was also lacking customer service. I ordered a cheese board and the staff didn't even tell me what cheese was what until I asked, and they even had changed one of the cheeses because they ran out and weren't even going to say anything. Highly disappointed. Spas in the north and the east and much better and closer to what you'd expect to be a spa like experience. Locals will hush there! Here, it felt like I was just constantly in a Cafe. If they changed this element of the lagoon, it would be 5 star for sure.
