I must say that I am absolutely a beginner, but I was looking for a special experience, to be done alone but safely, that would leave me with an indelible memory of the Cretan atmosphere. The center offered me exactly what I was looking for. Very kind and organised in their management, always attentive to my safety and comfort, they accompanied me and offered me two extraordinary hours on horseback with the sweet Ivy, who was always docile and calm despite my perhaps somewhat uncertain riding. Highly recommended to everyone, even those who would like to this kind of emotion at least once, even without experience. I was on the Plakias Beach - huge recommendation😊 I often find it difficult on certain holidays to find stables that really take care of their and not only use them to make money of the tourists - which was why I was so happy to discover that this is definitely not the case here😊 There is really taken good care of all the animals and riders 😊 Great that I got to share with the horse Balis 😊 It was a little unfortunate that the level of the group was pretty far apart - which is not the fault of the guides but the participants probably had another definition of their level. Nonetheless the guide made it possible for the more experienced riders of the tour to have some really enjoyable gallops on the beach - what an experience😊 We booked the Plakias beach as absolute horse beginners and have mixed feelings about the experience. First off: The farm is absolutely beautiful and the seem to be very well taken care of. Our guide was very friendly, but failed to inform us ahead of time about the difficulty of the and also didn’t give proper instructions at the start, which made us nervous and insecure going into the experience. We needed 20-30 minutes to get to the beach and the path was partly very rocky, which was a little scary to us. The at the beach was beautiful, but we wish they’d given us a few minutes to take some more photos since this is not an everyday for most people. We felt a little rushed, which we didn’t like. Overall it was an unforgettable experience, we just wish things would’ve gone a little smoother, which is why we probably wouldn’t recommend this to absolute beginners. We did two rides with Ahmed and had so much fun! We absolutely recommend a trip to Paligremnos Mountain, it‘s the most beautiful view! The were well taken care of and in very good condition :) My friends and I had a lovely mountain with Ahmed today. Highly recommend this center. After the ride, they served us cold water, lemon cake, and raki. The were awesome and the staff was great. Ahmed was an excellent guide. Wonderful experience! Today’s horse session by the beach in Plakias was absolutely unforgettable! along the shore with the sound of the waves and the stunning Cretan landscape around us felt like a dream. Our guide, Ahmed, made the entire even more special he was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we all felt comfortable and safe with the horses. 10/10 We had a lovely trail up the mountain including some great bits of cantering. My fiancé and I went on a sunset ride, and it was truly unforgettable. Our instructor, Ahmed, was so patient and kind, especially since it was my fiancé’s first time on a horse – and he even ended up galloping! The views during the were breathtaking, with the mountains glowing in the golden light of the sunset. It was something really special. The were calm, well-trained, and easy to ride, which made the whole even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was peaceful and magical. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and memorable – whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!
