Good communal areas. The staff are superb, friendly and you know you are in safe hands. Don't expect fancy dining and luxurious bedrooms but what you get is fine. My son has just returned from his school residential here. He LOVED it. Special thanks to instructor Martin who became his favourite. He helped him conquer his fears and enjoy all the activities. Very grateful and I hope he is recognised for his hard work. Well done to everyone involved. We will return as a family sometime soon for Jack to show us around and have a family day out. I just came back from my trip today and it was amazing! Matilde was my instructor and the caving, climbing, zipline and abseiling were my favourite. The food was amazing, they gave you dessert and the milk was very fresh. The scavenger hunt was super duper fun and the beds weren't luxurious but they were cosy and the bedding kept you warm. The bathroom was great, and the water was warm. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I was super scared before I went but this has been my favourite trip so far. Whenever you feel scared they will encourage you to do the activity but I was scared in high ropes so my instructor took me down. 5 stars always!!!! I went here recently! I was absolutely I can’t explain how much I LOVED it! It’s wide- range of activities allows other pupils to have fun and experience a once-in-a-lifetime experience :) Rooms are comfortable and spacious (I made a lot of memories in there lol). Food is delicious and well-served (coming from a picky eater)!! A special thanks also to Greta for helping and supporting me through my adventure at the pioneer centre! She encouraged and helped me through the difficult and scary courses! She was very kind and positive to everyone and it also left a big impact on me so thank you Tara for being a wonderful, caring person!! ( I will always remember having a laugh with you) . On top of that, thank you to all of the super staff in the centre for making a dream come true for me. You were all very lovely, funny people to be around! I will miss the centre and you all very dearly !! - a final thank you , Natasha (a pupil who came here) The pioneer centre is amazing! The food is SPECTACULAR and that is coming form someone who is a picky eater next, the workers are so sweet! My leader, Jana, is such a sweet person ans she always makes sure you have an time! If you are scared, they let you down immediately and are proud of you for having a go! Next,the rooms are always in an condition and it is very comfortable! There is also a shop with a great amount of things! I love all the activities like archery, Raft-buliding and the zip line! The raft building is so fun! I loved it when we got to swim in it for a bit! If it is hot weather, they let you bring out as much water as you need! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER! because of this place's commitment to making us have an time and conditions, I am leaving this place a 5 STAR REVIEW! The rooms were spacious enough and the lodges, in general, were homey. However, the food could’ve definitely been better and flavourful. The outdoor activities were a personal favourite. It was all stellar and the staff guiding us through were all lovely! Special shoutout to Lexaas (Daniel) , he was real fun.
