I liked the mystical druidy quirky vibe but not worth £48 to take the family. It has some very cool and historic cultural features but has strongarmed in a dinosaur world presumably to keep open. They need to sort the prices out for what it is and maybe do some.things with the animals they have and make it more interactive. But pretty and unique none the less. Raining quite hard but we still enjoyed our day out. The kids loved the gardens especially as the pathways are all interlinked. There is a map available if needed. The moving stone doorway and dinosaurs were a big hit with the children (8 and 12). Food was good, a bit pricey but the shop seemed good value. Will definitely go back at Christmas as photos on website look amazing. A very eclectic, surreal place but thoroughly enjoyable. Lots to see, quiz for children to follow and dinosaurs to discover. Reasonable entry price, not too busy. Restaurant was good, ham sandwich lovely and tasty and children's pick and mix lunch box generous. Quirky but we'll worth a visit! I drove over an hour and a half to come here and it was worth every minute. I brought my daughter here during May half term and we both had a lovely time. As soon as we walked into the reception/cafe we were greeted with warm and welcoming staff. Paying their attention to my daughter, she instantly felt at ease and excitement. There's a handy map to guide you around the gardens and the little quiz helps keep you engaged through. The dinosaur gardens were a real highlight. What a wonderful experience, took grandchildren for a visit and they loved it, gardens are not far apart, easy access to everything, I highly recommend a visit Visited yesterday with my mum and son. It was super magical for my little boy, he absolutely loved it! The new addition of the dinosaur world was also very much welcomed (star of the show I think) - great interactive dinosaurs and a beautiful layout. Very eclectic overall, embracing the Alice in Wonderland theme. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I’d say the only downfall was there was some areas more populated (finished) than others but we were also aware it’s an ongoing site so they’re working on improvements and new areas. Thanks :) This is lovely place We different theme so never get bored also is very family orientated and the kids will enjoy the dinosaur world I took my partner here for her birthday and she says it is the best birthday she has had in a long time. The gardens are incredible - we did both say it felt like we were on some illicit substance at times, walking through these wacky worlds, all of which are so cleverly designed. We booked an Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea and it was truly magical, beyond expectations and a bargain at less than £20pp with everything we had included ("drink me" potion, little chocolates in a themed box, Alice themed tea cosy, flamingo balloon, brownies with "magic" toadstools on top, and plenty of delicious food). Every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming, service was exceptional and all dietary requirements were catered for. We cannot wait to return.
