Fishing pools are perfect. Cafe serves lovely food and staff are friendly and helpful. It is a great place to unwind and detach from the world for a few hours. Secure 5 stars for each element! We visited for Sunday carvery and loved every mouthful. Each item was cooked to perfection. The host (Bell) was extremely friendly; she answered each question we asked. We managed a dessert which was heaven. Many thanks. Absolutely fantastic evening. Great service and atmosphere along with great food. Docklow pools is a lovely fishery the Bozward family and staff work very hard and make everyone feel welcome I would highly recommend you visit you won’t be disappointed 5 stars Stayed at Docklow house. House was superb. On suite bathrooms all modern and very clean. Had a modern well equipped kitchen. Lovely dining room. Sitting room with a lovely view. Also games room and a cinema room. Was so nice we’ve booked again for next year. Would highly recommend. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pub was outstanding. Food was top class and all bar staff were superb. Fishing was excellent too. Worth every penny. On the whole best place I’ve stayed. Highly recommend. We have spent a few good holidays here. The accommodation is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. In the heart of the countryside. Very peaceful, relaxing and picturesque . The restaurant and coffee shop are excellent. All the staff are helpful and friendly. My husband loves the fishing and has caught some Big Fish. What a Gem of a Fishery. I have just got back from Docklow, and can honestly say there is no other fishery like it.... Great choices of where to fish, something for everyone. Great accommodation in the recently refurbished fisherman lodges. Great hospitality and food, nothing is too much trouble. Great weather, always a bonus. And above all Great fishing, considering it is still early in the season and the temperatures are just causing the fish to rise and feed. I fished the Major Bill and caught a full variety of fish, Common/Mirror/Grass Carp and Cats. Ranging from 17lb - 28lb and only fished for 3 days no nights. The fishery is Very well kept, pegs are all in good order and being renewed as required. All in all another Great visit.. Thanks to all the Doclow Team.
