Great news that this building was bought by local administration and can be restored! The museum has some old outdated parts, but with rich collection, and also some new art exhibitions. There is also a room for the owners. The park nearby is splendid. The lady from the museum was so nice! Cladirea muzeului este neîngrijita dar poate în viitor se va face ceva în acest sens. Este un muzeu de etnografie și care la etaj adăpostește și expoziții de arta. Doamna de la întrare îți povestește frumos despre ce este expus. Cu bilet de întrare și orar de vizitare. I have visited this tourist attraction now 10 years ago. It is situated in the Central Park of Comanesti, in a quiet and green area. It was build in 1880 and has diversified old collections. Impressive building, in need of urgent restauring. Este un reper istoric un muzeu unde sunt expuse diverse exponate tradiționale din viața poporului român ( Moldova). Sunt obiecte trebuincioase în gospodarie ,munca câmpului, îngrijirea pământului ,vânat și porturi populare . Toate obiectele sunt frumos așezate și etichetate corespunzător cu explicațiile corespunzătoare fiecărui exponat .Obiectele fiind foarte vechi ca timp peste Ioo. de ani sunt tratate cu diverse substanțe .In încăperi se simte o atmosfera apăsătoare .un miros înecăcios .Nu se poate sta prea mult .ln fata muzeului se întinde o grădină mare și frumoasă cu pomii foarte înalți și umbroși Sunt puse bănci unde vizitatori se pot relaxa . The first floor it's more like a painting exhibition. The lady who guided us through the history of the building was nice and ready to answer any question we had. The ground floor gives you a nice picture of how life used to be 100 years ago in Romania. The place will go through reabilitation pretty soon, so I'll come back to see more. Nice outdoors place, take a walk, fresh air. A place to relax. Foarte frumoasă expoziția si doamna care ne-a făcut turul a fost extrem de amabilă Merită vizitat! Am incercat sa-l vizitez in minivacanta de Sfanta Maria dar, din pacate, l-am gasit inchis. Nu era afisat niciun anunt referitor la vreun program special de Sf. Maria. Si edificiul si parcul arata jalnic. Pacat ca unica atractie turistica din orasul Comanesti arata deplorabil…o experienta neplacuta intr-un oras care se vede ca nu a avut parte de oameni gospodari la conducerea lui. Interesting place!
