Old historic house located right next to a castle from the 19th century that you can visit for free as a guest. I highly recommend this place and also a morning walk around the domain. It felt like I was in France. Beds and sheets very clean and comfortable. Our host, Mr. Dan, was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is in an old, historic, building, part of the Ghika domain. You get a great view over this domain, with a nice park and the palace itself. The whole place is loaded with history, if you have time for it. The accommodation itself was great - nice, heavy wooden furniture, everything clean, simple, but with taste. Nice and helpful host. 5 stars. This is a piece of a fairytale! Set in the garden of a minor that belonged to the last royal of Romania, Queen Maria, it still holds the flair and the enchantment of the era. The park is gorgeous, the pond and the trees are charming! The museum is open and free of charge. The rooms were clean, with white, crispy linnen and fresh towels. There are picnic tables and a kitchen that the owner showed us could be used for guests. We loved the stay and hope to return many more times! Location is marvelous, on the Ghika domain and you can visit the castle and the forest around! The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but overall the experience was great. There are no meal options here, you can just buy some snacks. Only for the ones that like to feel home... Limited in respect of catering as otherwise advertised but a wonderful place to be and experience a sunset and a sunrise in a calm and peaceful environment full of the controversial history of one of the most prominent families of XVII to XIX-th century Romania ...
