Well worth the hike up. Allow an hour for the round trip. Decent footwear needed, a bit rough underfoot. Spectacular views over the valley and a great story to go with it. Don't miss the monastery in Simat before or afterwards. Take water in summer. A beautifully situated castle. Magnificent view from above My 4 year old daughter walked in for 45 minutes Nice short path, and nice Moorish ruins at the end. Amazing place. Bit of a climb but worth it. Buenas vistas del valle de la Valldigna. La vista nocturna impresiona Great drive (through citrus), fun short walk, and gorgeous ruins. We loved this! Perfect to get out of tourist madness - we had the place to ourselves. (Mum and 2 x kids 10&12yrs). Tip: take lots of water, and visit nearby monastery afterwards! A beautiful medieval castle with incredible views of the valley. Great for those who want to hike and history lovers. The castle ruins are very impressive. Lovely place but difficult to climb! Está muy bien Beautiful ruins with a stunning view. Google says the hike up takes 10 minutes which is painfully inaccurate. Expect at least a 30 minute walk on the way up. Little bit hard to reach (or depends your conditioning and condition). If you are elderly or have children I would reconsider taking this uphill walk. Also the starting point was a bit off according to google maps. But still four points because the scenes and castle remains are wonderful. The trail is also a nice challenge. Also the tranquility is something we were looking for. Interesting quite place. Corto, intenso y muy bonito Stunning view - parking limited at the trail head but well worth the wait. Very narrow access roads so approach with care.
