It's a good Mediterranean beach, lots of sand where you can play and warm water with zero waves most of the year. In the summer you can find sport and leisure activities, life guards, bar but on the winter its a gosht town/ beach. The actual is really nice and relaxing. The is clean. It only really gets busy in the summer months, which is crowded but nothing compared to other resorts. I have been visiting this area for over 30 years and have seen the changes of the development of the whole and unfortunately not for the better. It's practically the only that does not have a front walkway which is a great shame. What it does have is a "Paseo" which runs the length of part of the main town. It's basically a walk way in-between the first row of houses and second row. It used to be beautiful with a wavy stone design in Red, White and Blue. It was a great walkway...but a few years back the hall decided to remodel the whole thing by giving it a modern look and made the worst decision ever. Such an ugly walkway with rusty metal pieces placed on the borders of the walkway. Such a shame as it's just so different to the original. The does have quite good restaurants and bars. Unfortunately it does lack shops as so many have closed. Only 1 pharmacy which gets really busy in the summer with waiting times of up to an hour. There are also a couple of Supermarkets which are open all year round. A lovely lake was also created at the North end of town, nice place to bring the kids and walk as it's full of ducks and geese. This summer 2021 they started road works to improve the streets and pavement width. Also mayor changes of road directions , which was really chaotic and very confusing. The most important topic is the fact that the sand in the is being swallowed by the sea rise and completely disappearing. Mayor problems of floodings have occurred and in the winter the sea water reach the houses in the front row. If your looking for a quiet, relaxing during September to June, this is your beach. It only gets busy during July and August. It has some shops and Restaurants open all year around. A bus service that picks people up from the train station which also goes to the main Village. It is a very small resort that transforms itself in Summer. The water is clean and Sand cleaned during the Summer months. There is also a dog at the end of the going towards Cullera. Unfortunately a very different cousin to bordering towns Gandia and Cullera, who boast wide, flat pristine beaches and lively promenades. Playa de Tavernes is strapped with very narrow beaches (La Goleta) and crumbling beachfront homes that were allowed to be built too close to the sea (perhaps before zoning laws). Far too many people populate the highrises in summer causing the beaches and to be overcrowded. Love this it's beautiful. Great place, clean and near to the llaollao 😉 It is a good but it can be quite crowded at times (from 1pm to about 3pm), also there are a lot of algae. Bring a snorkelling mask as it is a with very clear water despite it being a sand beach. We were between two beaches🌴 "platja Tavernes de la Valldigna" and "platja de Xaraco" The is clean🏖️, high waves🌊, I really liked it❤️🔥 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
