It's a tough walk with lots of ups and downs but rewarding with beautiful landscapes and views. There's lots of features from the dry waterfalls, landscaped canyon style steep river valleys and unusual rock features and whirlpools. I enjoyed the silence of the places and the occasional bird call. I only had some water but you can do it in about 5 hours and eat in the village at the end of the walk. Absolutely worth a visit. A little further you'll discover Baranq de l'infern which is a beautyfull tour with amazing and nice barranco crossings. A must do when you're a fan of senderismo. Just make sure to wear decent footwear and won't be bothered to climb. Check weather conditions before you start, summer time might not be the most suitable season. Great place to visit. Some outstanding and quirky little places to visit. If you enjoy taking pictures then you will enjoy visiting here. In Vall De Laguar there are very many places to see and go. You will always find Fresh air, fresh water, and beautiful looking over Dénia and Javea towards the Mediterranean Sea. This area is well known and great for hiking and picnics. I visit here around 5 to 6 times a year just to escape and live in the nature for a day. The hotel at the top of the mountain has a great lunch menu and you are so high up that sometimes the clouds pass by the restaurant windows. If you live close by or if you are just visiting, you will not be disappointed if you come and visit “La Catedral del Senderismo” or in English “The Cathedral of Nature Trails” en Vall de Laguar. Depending on how far you go you can work up as big a sweat as you want....
