Some beautiful jade and amazing polished axe heads. If you don't speak French then you will have a very limited experience here as almost nothing is in English. There is an audio guide, which explains a few of the more important displays but mostly you will be in the dark as to what the objects are. If you speak French then you will enjoy the as aside from the language issue the seems to be very good. This is a beautiful with lots of interesting and stunning artifacts and a well told story. However, as so often in France, most of it is only in French. There is a foreign language audioguide which covers about 10% of the exhibits but it is definitely still worth a visit. (You can use the camera function on your google translate app to translate the other parts). I still give it 5* because the exhibits are stunning but I do wish the people who manage this beautiful would welcome foreign tourists. Very underrated with probably world leading material about prehistoric times. As someone who loves prehistory this is quite possible the best I've ever been to and I've been to 100s they have some truly incredible and beautiful artefacts including some incredible polished stone axeheads, the only downside is all the signs are in the local language however I don't mind this to much as just seeing such beautiful history is enough, they do have a lovely book on the in English you can get in the gift shop. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in prehistory, megaliths, neolithic times and even roman. Audio guide in English not great. Difficult to follow numbering system and so much of the not described. Bit of a shame really.
