Its normal to raft, and in busy times can be a bit chaotic. As long as you don't mind rafting, a great place to visit. Nothing spectacular; but its USP is its location in the heart of Lorient, making Port-Louis easily reachable thanks to the ferry-bus. Lovely little harbour, which is a very relaxing and quiet place. Perfect for a walk, or to have lunch with a friend. Very nice place to go fishing, many good spots It was crowded with large boats and did not look as if it would be comfortable for my small one on the visitor pontoon. Glad I went to look. Well worth the detour.
