Great day out, great variety of animals, all seemed well cared for and had enough room. The hills are not for the faint hearted but it is all worth it. The café on site is a welcome escape to refuel and rest your feet. Great memories that will last a lifetime. Great conservation zoo. Lots of exotic animals. Motorised wheel chairs available for 15 euros. It does involve going up and down hills alit so if you have limited mobility definitely get one. A standard wheel chair will be no good as some of the hills are quite steep. It's definitely worth a visit. Many of the have been resued from circuses. A wonderful place for a family vacation. Beautiful nature and well-groomed animals. You need a whole day to walk around the large area of the park. There are seating areas where you can buy drinks, ice cream or a burger. Nice little zoo. look healthy and reasonable sized enclosures. Some areas are very steep. If booking online you can scan your uploaded tickets to get through the barrier. Beware if you are a smoker/ vapour, you can only do this in a designated area and not through the whole zoo. Plenty of on site parking. We went there on a work trip, one 2010 Autumn. We had a free day so we decided to visit this zoo. Very well care, awesome animals. 100% recommended if you’re visiting this area. Very good zoo, some steep hills for walking around, all looked healthy and happy. The elephant enclosure is brilliant and the elephants themselves are huge, well worth seeing the elephant feeding. Very nice zoo, the all looked very healthy and well cared for. Their habitats had been well thought out. I did have a bit of a problem getting round it as I use a walker and there's a lot of up and of course down. Without my husband I don't think I would have made it up the first hill! We had a mid week visit on a somewhat cloudy day, and it was a wonderful experience. The seemed happy and healthy and when we visited, quite active. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of sandwiches, and delighted to be able to get a coffee to enjoy while watching the elephant animation (where the keeper fed the elephant and told visitors about the in their care). It's a lovely day out for the whole family - we'll be back again.
