One of the Best Places To Visits in Old Oxted Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Disappointing. Car park machine only accepts cash, in this day and age that is absurd. Attended an under 5s session. Absolutely nothing was working in the pool. Changing rooms were fine but the women’s toilets were foul. The sanitary bins had clearly not been emptied in a very long time. They were full to the brim and the entire room stank of rotting used sanitary products Good with sauna and steam room. Gets understandably busy during school holidays so best to avoid those times! Plenty of changing cubicles, enough lockers and there are private showers and some hair dryers. Coffee shop has good selection of sandwiches and paninis which staff are happy to heat up. Some swimwear and accessories are available to purchase in the reception area. Plenty of parking. Such a nice, welcoming and wholesome leisure centre. I can only really speak for the area but the gym is viewable from the area. Seems like a popular gym and is always busy. I take my two year old and she loves Tandridge Leisure Centre. I take her to the Little Splashers they have the water warmer and there's plenty of parents there with their kids so your little one can socialise. My little one is too small for the big slide so haven't tried that yet but will when she's older. The slanted entry into the water is also really important if your little one isn't a confident swimmer yet. Get yourself down there it's a great time. Oxted has some lovely local Cafes for a post swim snack too. Clean facilities with cleaning stations provided in the gym. Staff not always in the gym but easy to find someone at the front desk if needed. changing areas are usually fairly clean but not always perfect but what else can you expect when so many people visit every day because it’s such a great pool! Worth visiting with children or families, there’s a nice cafe here too. Solo also good availability as lanes are often open and separate from the open side. I Paid £14 for entry and was utterly shocked by the state of the place. Filthy changing rooms, revolting toilets, and none of the advertised features were working—no wave machine, no slide, nothing. No notice given, no apology. Tried to use a simple foam aid to help teach my son to swim and was flat-out refused by the manager. His reason? “Children bite them.” I assured himmy son wouldn’t, and was met with, “You can buy one for £13.50.” Appalling attitude and zero customer service. This place is a health hazard, a rip-off, and a total embarrassment to a lovely village! Don’t waste your or money here. My daughter really enjoys her lessons here and has made great progress over the course of our time. I like that it's council funded and you can turn up for a swim at any time, no need to book like Better brand gyms or pool. We drive 20 mins out of our way for this and really enjoy our there every week. Constantly booked out even if you are a member, features constantly shut, sauna, steam, slide. Hardly any lockers available, young staff who aren't bothered, parking is extra. I played a game of Phasmophobia with one of your staff members and she kept using the music box which was killing me (in the game, she's lovely in real life). I've never been to the leisure center.
